P.S. In case you have any questions, please email me. I do answer every email.
It turns out that I came across The Brain Audit in a Quora post (https://www.quora.com/How-effective-is-Ramit-Sethis-zero-to-launch-course-Who-is-it-a-poor-fit-for) while researching Ramit Sethi’s course zero to launch.
In that Quora post, several people recommended Sean. The first time I came across that post, perhaps a year ago, I did nothing with this information, then this year, still looking for guidance in starting up my business, I found the post again and just went ahead and bought the Brain Audit Kindle book.
Usually, I’d look through marketing materials or podcasts at the site first before considering the purchase of a book, but I skipped that completely this time since I had wasted too much time on that previously (I was getting disillusioned by all the ‘guru’s’ out there who talk a lot but manage to say next to nothing) and went straight for the book to see if there was anything of substance there. And I found it so interesting that
I read it straight through and finished it. I’ve read quite a few business and marketing books, but the Brain Audit actually inspired me to start applying the things I learned right away.
For instance, I’ve come across the idea of being very specific when defining a target audience in many books, but for some reason, they never really spoke to the imagination and did not spark any applicable ideas but remained theoretical until Sean introduced the idea of a target profile and it just sort of clicked exactly how specific I would need to be, and the possibilities/ideas started flowing).
“Sean is so easy to learn from. His lessons are short, to-the-point and memorable. The conveyer belt idea in the Brain Audit is brilliant. Even if you don’t remember every detail, you’ll remember the importance of making sure you’ve covered all your bases.”

The obstacles that would have prevented you from buying-The Brain Audit was not sure if it is worth the time needed to read.
As a result of buying the product, I found that the time needed to read it is well invested, even the second and perhaps the third time.
The specific feature I liked most about-The Brain Audit is that you get to the point and get the content across in a pleasant style without rambling
Three other benefits
You are working with pictures from everyone´s life
The content is extremely helpful
I finally understood the “secret of buying” – and how to help them buy my extremely useful services 😇
Yes, I would recommend this product to everyone who finally wants to understand the process of buying – and just for that reason.
Many thanks for your work and sharing it.
Hola Sean y Renuka.
Aquí está el cuestionario de mi testimonial de the Brain Audit.
I found Sean ‘Souza in a reference while reading Paul Jarvis’s book: The Company of One. At first, I was curious about the guy who has an English name and a Portuguese last name, but clearly, he is from India and lives in New Zeland. Quite a puzzle for me. I´m mexican by the way and live en Mexico City.
I have been learning marketing and direct response marketing mostly from Dan Kennedy and a lot of american gurus. So finding an Indian Guru doesn’t fit in my personal view. But I saw The Brain Audit as a very easy bet. So I bought it in Amazon.
It has been a great surprise.
The Brain Audit book is easy to read and understand, very well written and direct to the point. Really a how to manual. So I have had bought again as a PDF, because now is on my top favorite 5 marketing books.
The specific feature I liked most about-The Brain Audit.
Everybody talks and recomend to get testimonials, however, the way Sean does it is the best I have seen ever! Great advice!
Three other benefits:
1. The concept of 7 bags is clear and simple.
2. The way you “marry” problem whit solutions.
3. The templates and questionaries included in the book to make your own 7 bags.
Of course I recomend The Brain Audit to every entrepreneur, because it is a simple and powerful formula to promote you products and services not only online but offline too. Caution: After you read the book you will feel the impulse to buy every thing Sean and Renuk have on their website.
After I read The Brain Audit, I have bought several of the products they offer in the website. Then I wrote an email to Sean and got a very nice answer from them.
I´m grateful and happy to have found Sean and Renuka and I hope to be in a live training with them as soon as possible.
I did buy The Brain Audit without any hesitation and I am glad I did.
I found it extremely interesting and useful.
I am preparing a program to help my customers create Irresistible Offers.
I have integrated the 7 bags (+trigger) as 8 of the 9 ingredients of an Irresistible Offer
The specific feature I liked most about-The Brain Audit:
Presenting THE Problem as the clear start of any communication
As a copywriter, I have been trained to look for the PAIN and because I don’t like negativity I was mainly stressing the tandem Feature – Benefit Clearly identifying the problems and selecting THE PROBLEM is a much more powerful approach
Three other benefits
a) Clearly showing the path at the end of each chapter.
I will adopt this strategy
b) Selecting a Target profile rather than the usual avatar/persona
c) Creating better, more credible Testimonials
A story that includes the negative/reluctance of the customer thanks to the questions we are asking them is indeed a lot more interesting and credible
I would recommend this product:
Yes to people fluently reading English. Because I find this 7 bags approach very useful and powerful. It changed my way of writing copies.
Thanks a lot for your ways of looking outside of the box that I find extremely inspiring

Hi Sean,
Greetings from your motherland [We have independence day here 🙂 ]
I hope this email finds you writing a new book for all of us because I couldn’t keep calm after reading “The Brain Audit”.
Just finished your book and here I’m writing the email to the author himself (I haven’t done it before).
Sean, It’s a once in a year phenomenon, when such book happens to me. Most of the marketing books tell about the theoretical concepts and here is the beauty with “how” and “why”.
I didn’t have to read the entire book and then apply the tactics, I was able to think them through the pages and have already applied some of them. For rest, I have some ideas in planning process.
The book has priceless value and is completely unputdownable (I see why a recepie is there in it :D). I’m in awe of your brain that has carefully knitted everything in the book.
Do recommend some of your favourite marketing & psychology books to me, I’m excited to know the list.
Thanks again,
Warm Regards,
Nikita Upreti,

What were the obstacles that would have prevented you from
buying-The Brain Audit?
I get so much free content that I don’t use I was worried I would simply buy another book to put on the shelf – that I probably would never read.
What did you find as a result of buying the product?
I listened to it on Audible – my favourite way to “read”. Some great ideas – especially challenged about targeting an audience of one.
The specific feature you liked most about-The Brain Audit.
Target audience having a focus on one person – really makes this specific.
Three other benefits?
The case study questionnaire – getting good testimonials is so important.
Would you recommend this product and why?
Yes – it is simple to understand and easy to follow through with.
Why I hesitated: In my mind, there seemed to be a disconnect between the title and the content which bothered me. Whose brain? Mine or the buyer? Why Audit? It seems more of a journey around the features of a buyer’s mind so words like navigator, pilot, explorer seem more appropriate than Auditor.
What I learned: It revealed to me the idea that the buying process ‘is a thing’ that can be analysed and managed like everything else. (I am a business engineer by background so this sings to me). I also love the debunking of populist myths and accepted ‘wisdom’ which is often lacking any explicit basis or testing. (I am a scientist by background too)
I also liked: The clarity, the rigour, the freshness, the actionable outcomes and the presentation style both written and drawn.
Other benefits: Confidence to do my own analysis and monitoring of results, revision of the nature style of my planned project from book/course to more article based overall, to take control to do MY thing.
I would recommend The Brain Audit: Of course. If I can get this out of it then other people could too. Just to say, I appreciate the refreshing approach of all your work.
Thanks

“I wanted to create a sales page for some sheet music I was selling, as well as design some sort of marketing idea/structure for my webmaster business.”
The thing that made the difference for me was the Brain Audit Audio. I actually didn’t even read the book for over a week, but just listened to the Audio.
Then I finally sat down for a full day, notes and all, and went through the entire PDF. I wanted to create a sales page for some sheet music I was selling, as well as design some sort of marketing idea/structure for my webmaster business (I design websites for small businesses).
Everything just seemed to make sense to me. And every time I read it, I get something else out of it (It’s kind of like the Bible of Marketing!) I still haven’t read it enough times, and I know I’m still missing out on more.
Andrew Muller, Webmaster/Writer/Music Critic, Chilliwack, BC, Canada
Let me start by saying that I found your work through my business coach, Mark Silver. He mentioned the material about Headlines in one of his courses, and I was curious to explore it. The writing structure and content of the report were useful and I didn’t burn a ton of calories trying to understand or deconstruct and apply what you taught.
Later I explored your website and subscribed to your emailing list. And I actually read the emails. So, when the Brain Audit – the book – was recommended, I got a copy. Reading the book and applying the insights – including the testimonial format you are using now helped me connect better with my clients.
Later when you offered the program, I thought it was a great opportunity to hear the teacher interact with his students and teach the material.
So to answer your question, had your material not been recommended by my coach, I don’t think I would have gotten to know your work.
As a result of buying The Brain Audit I found:
A new perspective to selling and buying the way humans do, one that addresses my unconscious concerns when I’m selling (or buying).
The specific feature you liked most about-The Brain Audit:
The cartoons, in addition to the content, structure.
Three other benefits?
1- Addressing Objections: This section is eye-opening. I can anticipate people’s objections and explore solutions as part of designing my product. They became signposts for success, rather than closed doors.
2- Testimonials: To be specific about the questions (basically copying your form) has brought instant replies from clients, as opposed to feeling shy about asking clients to share their thoughts.
3- The six bags image – easy to remember and course-correct using this model.
Yes. I believe in recommending excellent work, particularly when it offers insights, hands-on advice, and immediate results.
Thank you so much for the work you put out. I follow your podcast as well, there is so much to learn from your material. My best to Renuka.

A friend suggested the Psychotactics site to me. I visited it and signed up for the newsletter. I found the content very interesting and it came naturally to me to purchase The Brain Audit. I honestly didn’t find any reason not to do it, also considering the rather low price at which the ebook is sold .
I read the book three times, as suggested by Sean.
And, from the very first reading, I was reminded of the heated discussions I had with my father, many and many years ago, when I was first preparing to write texts for websites.
My father did not deal with Marketing, but he did a strange job with writing: he was in charge of writing deliberations in a hospital.
His job was to summarize in very few lines, very long papers that were delivered to him by doctors, managers and colleagues. These resolutions were then distributed both inside the hospital and outside.
The reason for the dispute between me and my father was simply this: he wanted me to use his strategy when I was writing and that there needed to be an intimate connection, an intimate link between a paragraph and the other of each written. A strategy that literally saved his life whenever he had to write a deliberation.
I tried that once, great! But it took me three times as long for writing, so sometimes I would give up and he would be upset. I would explain that users would understand what I was writing anyway and he would get even more upset. And so, I don’t want to dwell on it, He asked me to have my friends and relatives read a text made with that strategy and one without it. Result: 10 VS 0, the text that used the strategy always won. And so that strategy became part of me and it has helped me a lot throughout my life.
The Brain Audit does just that: it connects in a logical and rational way the mental processes that lead a customer to a purchase. And it does it so well that once you’ve read it you realize that it’s virtually impossible to find an alternative way to do the same thing.
And your mind feels a sense of order, like if all things have been put in place.
I say this because I’ve been involved in Web Marketing for many years and I already knew and used quite a few of the concepts Sean explained. But often in a messy way, there was no logical order and consequentiality.
With The Brain Audit now there is a logical order in my mind, I know exactly what to do and how and when to do. What’s more, I think that what Sean explains can also be used in everyday life and not only when you have to write a text for a website, a brochure or a presentation.
This is a great thing for me.
But in The Brain Audit I found not only order and “intellectual peace,” also things I had never thought of.
In particular, I was struck by the process of “defusing” objections through testimonials.
Beyond the concepts expressed, all of which are fundamental, I was impressed by the apparently simple way of explaining them. Basically Sean says everything that needs to be said, neglects nothing and does it in the most direct, understandable and actionable way possible.
The only difficulty I found is this: I’m not a native English speaker and therefore some slang expressions, idioms, etc., I’m not ashamed to say, it took me a while to understand them.
And so I can recommend the purchase of The Brain Audit to anyone involved in sales and not only. Especially to those who have not yet found order – or the right order – in their way of working.

About The target profile interview
This was very helpful!
I learned:
-It’s a good exercise to write what we think and our assumptions about the client and their problems before the interview, just to stay in grounded in how wrong we often are.
-We have to be prepared for the chaos of a target profile interview and stay focused on getting to the one biggest problem, the consequences of said problem, and their main objections. The beginning of the sales page can then be a “you” version of the problem and consequences.
-When seeking feedback post-interview, it needs to be in the same medium that the client would consume it, so they have the same distractions affecting their focus and they see the design of it as they would in real life. We need to ask what’s right, what’s wrong, and what would you fix.
I learned other awesome nuggets as well.
I suppose one specific follow up question I would’ve asked if I was present in the call would be, what if I worked with hundreds of these clients in my prior day job, and know what their problems are, but it was in a fashion where my advice was free and now I want to charge for it?
Instead of working on commission, I want to charge a fee for consulting to unhinge myself from the client’s perception of a salesman who only gets paid when he sells a product and might be conflicted on which product he recommends. Put another way, I know the client very well, but not all the clients I did work with would have paid $500 vs getting the advice for free just to get more unbiased advice. But a small % would have, and I know that for fact.
Do I still need to interview those target profile clients who would have paid? Or is what I know enough to start on my site and copy to attract potential clients and convert them? The problem for me is, I don’t know where I could even find the 5-10% of customers out of the entire pool that are willing to pay for the advice vs receive it free. It’s not like they congregate somewhere online.
Thanks Sean!

Prior to buying The Brain Audit I wanted to be sure it would be really worth it. So one obstacle was maybe I feared it would be stuff I’d read or heard of before, or that I could get online anyway if I ever needed it. Coupled with that was the issue of cash, hey it’s only 10 USD I know but that remained a big investment for me.
The book opened my eyes to a whole new (new to me) concept of presenting my message to customers, interacting with them, and preempting their concerns to solve their problems.
Ultimately, I think The Brain Audit is about courage and authenticity. Courage to face the customers fears and mine, courage to stand apart from the popular marketing psychology. And of course authenticity in presenting my services to clients without needing to pretend or befuddle them in any way.
The specific feature I liked most about-The Brain Audit:
I loved the conveyor belt metaphor. It provides a structure I can process, store, and reference. I am becoming more confident about sharing my message with my audience.
I’d recommend this product to all sales and marketing people everywhere. It’s a totally refreshing, yet powerful way to approach our engagement with prospects and customers.
Thank you for this amazing work, I’m glad I bought the book. I’m using The Brain Audit to build a marketing system for my budding small web design and digital marketing business. And I’d also advise my clients to do the same.
Kind regards,
Adewumi Olatunji
The main obstacle to buying The Brain Audit was taking time to check out what Sean was about before making that leap. I wanted to feel comfortable that he stood behind his products and that it would be a good fit for me.
I found out that Sean practices what he preaches! The system he explains in the book is one I have begun to recognize throughout his communications and business interactions. I also recognize my own response to it…signed up for the Article Writing Course Live as a result. 😊
The feature I most appreciated is the inspiration it gave me as a newbie entrepreneur. I now feel greater confidence that I can follow this system successfully to journey my way into the 3 Month Vacation plan.
Other benefits of the book include:
*a fabulous example of how to layout a guidebook of one’s own
*genuine marketing masterpiece in an easy to read and listen to format
*puts you on track with options for your next step(s)
The Brain Audit is definitely a book I have recommended and will continue to encourage others to read. Why? Two advantages: First – its principles are simple but profound because they work. Second – it’s packaged in a way that can be replicated so that no one has to reinvent the wheel.
The book’s concepts are practical since there are things to implement right away. That said, the depth of training that Sean offers to successfully follow the system, is one that I now trust him to do well. Their lovely philosophy is to treat clients right and with care.
Thank you!

Everyone needs to know some Psychotactics. Interesting.

The Brain Audit was my first product and I did not know who Sean was. Carol Tice’s Freelance Writer’s Den recommendation turned me to Sean’s website.
What stood out is the clear explanation and example of Persona versus Person, when learning how to develop your Target Profile. I’m more confident in interviewing future clients and building my website around a specific profile.
This might just be the most useful business book I have ever read.
Looking for guidance in starting up my business, I just went ahead bought the Brain Audit Kindle book.
Usually I’d look through marketing materials or podcasts at the site first before considering the purchase of a book, but I skipped that completely this time since I had wasted too much time on that previously (I was getting disillusioned by all the ‘marketing/business guru’s’ out there who talk a lot but manage to say next to nothing) and went straight for the book to see if there was anything of substance there.

I had been following Sean through his podcast and emails for a little more than a year. Every now and then I would see something that caught my attention and I would read or listen.
But I was focused on my real estate business, trying to get it ready to sell. I began thinking of what I would do next and, though I am still not sure, I know I want to write articles, teach, and maintain my current lifestyle.
That’s when I saw an email about Sean’s article writing class. And it said I needed to purchase the Brain Audit, so I did. All this is to say, my only obstacle was that I wasn’t ready to buy it…until I was.
What I found was, essentially, an extension of the emails and podcasts. Easy to understand chunks of information broken into even easier to understand chunks of information…supported by relevant, but unusual stories and cartoons. Accept Brain Audit kept me focused on the goal of talking to the right customer, in the right way, until they take action.
The specific feature you liked most about-The Brain Audit Kit
As I mentioned in the previous answer. I really appreciate the way the Brain Audit breaks down the 6 bags…just kidding…I’ve read it thrice like you said to do…I know there’s seven…not including the Trigger.
Three other benefits:
First, it gives me a great model for structuring my articles So if I don’t get to get into the article writing course…I can at least learn by deconstructing the Brain Audit’s framework.
Second, it led me to some other great Psychotactic courses, like Outlining and Chaos Planning.
Finally, it was my admission pass to 5000BC.
I 1000% recommend this product. I hesitate to say the reason why because my reason might not be someone else’s reason. But I have been selling for a long time…and I wish I’d found this product earlier. It literally gives you a step-by-step map for the customer’s buying, or not buying, your product or service.
I really appreciated that I was able to email Sean a question…and get a response…from Sean.

1. What were the obstacles that would have prevented you from
buying-The Brain Audit?
I did not want the Brain Audit to join the long list of books that I had enthusiastically bought and left them unread midway because I found them later to be –blah blah blah. There’s a lot of mediocre content out there and so I was cautious about buying this.
2. What did you find as a result of buying the product?
It’s an all-encompassing framework to audit your communication. The beauty of Brain Audit lies in its simplicity and the common sense approach it takes.
3. The specific feature you liked most about-The Brain Audit.
Lots of examples and great cartoons made it an easy read.
4. Would you recommend this product and why?
Anybody who has a business to run and wants to audit their communication or learn the building blocks of marketing should read this.
6. Anything else you would like to add?
The best $10 I spent on education this year.
I LOVED the Brain Audit!
Like others who are grasping at straws trying to find my way through advertising & marketing, I thought The Brain Audit was probably just more information. I’d already read, The famous ‘Boron Letters’, Jay Abraham’s books and other advertising books.
Firstly, I was extremely surprised on how readable it was. It was so simple to understand! Secondly, I was even more impressed since I could immediately see where I could improve my landing page (for an upcoming product launch).
It clearly taught me how to systematically think and understand why clients really buy or not buy. There was a simple checklist to go through.
I also loved the stories at the beginning. They helped me to remember what I needed to and why. Another was the clear explanations helping me understand why I should pay attention to customers complaints and how to use them.
I’d highly recommend the Brain Audit. In fact, if you know NOTHING about advertising or marketing and are on the fence on which program to buy, just get this! It also comes with the BEST guarantee you will ever see, period. In fact, I regret I didn’t find it earlier. I’d have save lots of wasted time and be years ahead.
Yesterday was the best time to buy The Brain Audit; Don’t waste any more precious time and buy now.
Thank you so much Sean!

Thanks Sean! I was hesitant to buy your book because like many of my peers in copywriting, we suffer from info overload. I was not interested in sharing my time to read another book telling me something marginally new. I am so glad I purchased Brain Audit, I listened to it at least 2 times, now I’m reading again and it sits on my desk as a reference.
Also, like your outlining material, the technique you teach in both has bought me so much time! I’m a faster, better writer because of both. Not to mention more successful.
Your advice in the brain Audit revolutionizes landing page copy because of the formula within, great!
I have upped my game substantially in researching the “hungry crowd” by speaking to your seven bag principle. Identifying the target and her profile has become easier and so useful in associated pieces like emails and all other correspondence.
Thank you again Sean and Renuka!
5. Would you recommend this product and why?
6. Anything else you would like to add?
I had an old copy of “The Brain Audit” (TBA) years ago but lost it. I recently bought the updated online version directly from Psychotatctics. I’ve been an admirer of Sean’s work for some time, but before I read “The Brain Audit” back in 2013, I was sceptical that it would be like every other marketing book out there– a total information dump and rehash job. To my amazement and delight, the content proved my inner cynic wrong.
I’m actually happy that I lost my original copy because I hadn’t read The Brain Audit in years and it reacquainted me with a fool-proof structure for my copywriting and added another layer to my branding and the brand copy I write for clients. Even some of the most reliable copywriting formulas like P.A.S. pale in comparison to Sean’s sound structure.
3) One of the reasons I’ve been following Sean for years is because his material is as methodical as it is entertaining. Sean frames everything around systems and walks you through the “what,” “how” and “why” things make sense. His relatable analogies and building and layering concepts on top of one another to help readers absorb the material systematically are two of the main reasons why I love The Brain Audit, and why he’s on my email newsletter shortlist.
The Brain Audit is:
a) Versatility, you can literally apply this formula to any marketing copy/branding whether it’s your own or for your clients.
b) If you pay attention and read the book a minimum of two times (I read it three times, and will re-read it at least once per year) you’ll notice that The Brain Audit structure he teaches you is the exact one he used throughout the book. After my refresher, I now look for an invisible structure within every piece of marketing copy that I come across.
c) The maximum absorption structure, as I said before Sean progressively builds off the previous chapter(s) in each new chapter to hammer the concepts into your head. Also, his chapter-end summaries function as a refresher and another comprehension tool for the reader, but what I liked in particular, was the *thoroughness* of each summary. Each summary functioned as an addendum and as an independent facet of each chapter; theoretically, you could just read the summaries to get the gist of the book.
d) The testimonials chapter alone is worth at least 10X the price. The way Sean flipped the traditional assumption(s) about testimonials on its head is brilliant.
5) I absolutely would (and have) recommended this product to others to because I wanted to give them a marketing framework that they can use and build upon for their own business and for their clients.
The atypical friendliness that his marketing copy and online persona exuded. I was intrigued by his overall lack of bravado and hype, which is uncommon within the online marketing realm. He seemed like a genuine dude, and after buying a few of his products and hanging out on his list for years, I can attest that he is, in fact, the real deal.

As I clicked on the link to purchase the Brain Audit book, I thought to myself, do I really need another book? How much have I spent buying books this year? Have I read all the books I have purchased so far? No, I haven’t. Why do I need yet another book?
So for me the obstacle was purchasing yet another book. A book to learn how to make my business become a reality. But, I bought it anyway, and the price was right, so I felt ok about buying the pdf. If it was more, I wouldn’t have bought it.
I haven’t made very much money yet since starting my business, so I had to really think about buying another book and how much I was spending.
As a result of buying the product:
I really like your approach. I like the steps in the boxes. I loved the humour. I see everything differently now. When I go to buy something, I think about the steps. I also understand now that obstacles are part of the business. That was very helpful to me.
I haven’t started writing articles yet, but I will. I found I have changed the way I write about what I am selling.
The specific feature I liked most about-The Brain Audit.
I liked the roller coaster idea. How you grab their attention with a question, and then say the problem, and then the solutions, and the problem, and solution, and the focus on one thing to start. Then list the other services. That was the best for me so far. I”m currently on the risk reversal chapter.
Three other benefits
— Learning about obstacles, how that is part of the buying process, they are interested, then they need to work through the obstacles.
—It is very practical. I am starting to use the techniques in my writing about my business, my profile, my website pages.
—I am looking forward to using the techniques suggested in the article writing. You have sent me supplemental things to read, for free, which was great.
I would highly recommend this product because it makes sense. I don’t have proof it works, but I will. I’m going to try what you suggest. I believe in the behaviour and psychology you talk about.
I am going to share this with all my friends and entrepreneurs. It’s funny, but now I am analyzing other marketing material, and it doesn’t cut it. And I know why because of this book. As you say, people focus on the solution they are providing but not indicating the problem that they can solve for you. They are missing the boat.
And I am not going to! Thanks, Sean! I feel like I have an edge because of this book. We will see!

I am focused on developing podcast skills and the Brain Audit didn’t seem relevant enough to invest the time to read it.
I know nothing (yet) about building a successful small business but the Brain Audit gives me a clear, and what feels to me, an intuitive direction for building a business model to attract paying customers.
The specific feature I liked most about the Brain Audit is selection and sequence of key factors that affect customer purchase – I found this quite enlightening, as if I had been given secret information.
Three other benefits:
-Sean is very intelligent and this appears in his writing skills. His ability to take abstract concepts and present them with simple clarity was appreciated.
-Even in my infancy stage of business building, I am developing the skill to analyze my company and other companies and pinpoint shortfalls in the approach.
-There is a growing confidence to make those first initial plunges, even though there will be mistakes. There is a system to evaluate the process and make modifications as necessary.
Yes, I would recommend The Brain Audit. (But, not to my competition) I would recommend it to budding business builders because its clarity and intuitive appeal brings a sense of relief to the complexity of the challenge.
Sean is the math teacher I wish I had in high school. He takes something abstract and makes it concrete and quite exciting.

For several years at work (Accounting Firm) we keep talking about ways to grow the business and sell products to our clients and each time was a huge failure. Now I have read the brain audit, I realise why this is a problem and why we cant get over the hurdle. We are leaving behind nearly half the red bags and not dealing with them.
I started listening to Sean’s podcast and then got onto his email list and he kept talking about the brain audit and so I was curious about it but wasn’t sure if I was going to get because what can he really tell me that I didn’t know
Well let me tell you, I have started to realise that while I know a lot of stuff, I do not know it as well as I think and this has opened my eyes to a whole range of different and new concepts and explained to me why they are important and continually talk about why they are important and give demonstrations.
I like how the Brain Audit kit breaks the items down to simple, easy to learn formats and gives you several different ways of learning it again and again and again and how sean demands you listen to it several times which gives you more and better information each time.
I would recommend this product to anyone who is in business or looking to start a business or improve their work life. The brain audit whilst its about why customers buy and why they don’t. Its funny how it translates to so many different aspects of life.

The obstacles that would have prevented you from
buying-The Brain Audit Kit was—Not understanding how it’s different from other training materials out there i.e. that’s it’s deep material and gets results on its own.
As a result of buying the product— I found more clarity about what really matters in marketing.
The specific feature you liked most about-The Brain Audit Kit
—The Testimonials smackdown. Having them address objections first and foremost rather than just be a flattery fest.
Three other benefits:
• being clearer with presenting the Problem rather than going on about Solutions (Rollercoaster)
• having one Target Profile (giving me a crisis of faith about who I’ve been targeting, making me realize I want to change that)
• changing the money-back guarantee I offer and emphasizing skill instead (which is more in line with what I’m actually offering)
I feel this is an advanced training packaged in a simple way.
It’s taken me a while to get in the right mindset to appreciate what Sean is offering.
I had to wade through so many bad attitudes I personally had about being in business before I could understand the clarity Sean brings.
Once you’ve gotten over agonizing about being in business, selling stuff, and other limiting beliefs, Sean brings a highly distilled brew teaching serious business skills.
I’m surprised at how much mindset has limited me in the past.
I felt like being an artist means you shouldn’t be in business or think about money at all. It was through researching great artists of the past that I found out how much they were in business, like it or not.
The sales letters Bach sent, the angry invoices Beethoven wrote, the patron relationships they all had to develop.
So I realized business is an art too. That Sean is so into art and actually shares his art within The Brain Audit made a bridge for me, and I’m super grateful.
Cheers,
Diana Rowan
Yes, I have a degree, (Batchelor of Business Administration). Technically, it has helped because I have a minor in finance and I’m in the insurance business. I also took classes in marketing and one class on salesmenship…which didn’t help much.
Much of the training I got from the insurance companies wasn’t that successful in teaching me how to sell. I followed their instructions…and success was pretty random. It wasn’t until I decided to figure it out for myself…reading hundreds of sales books…picking up ideas here and there…and simply observing what worked and what didn’t…that’s when I learned how to sell.
When I get in front of a qualified prospect…my successful closing ratio runs around 80%.
One suggestion I would make to someone just starting out…look at copywriting to get good ideas as to what works in print will usually work in face to face or over the phone. Some of my best ideas on sales came from one guy…Sean D’Souza from psychotactics.com.

“The Brain Audit turns a century of brain research and market testing into 7 vivid and clear steps that anyone can use to make their own marketing more compelling”
I first stumbled upon the author, Sean D’Souza, at a conference where we both were speaking in 2007. I listening to his presentation on Saturday morning, and then locked myself in my hotel room for 16 hours straight while I rewrote my presentation on Google AdWords For Dummies to make it more like Sean’s.
Why? Principally because Sean understands and conveys underlying structure better than anyone else I know. He loves showing people the simple steps that make all the difference, so we can ignore the fluff and the BS. The result is always entertaining, frequently hilarious, and to any business that wants to attract and serve more customers and clients, incredibly valuable.
The Brain Audit turns a century of brain research and market testing into 7 vivid and clear steps that anyone can use to make their own marketing more compelling. And the best thing is, none of this is obvious. You never walk away from Sean’s brain with the feeling of, “Oh yeah, I knew that.” His approach and insight bring tired old marketing concepts like “USP” and “positioning” and “differentiators” to life in new forms.
Howie Jacobson
Author, Google AdWords For Dummies
“Before I purchased the Brain Audit, I thought this is just crazy, I’ve got so much marketing material that I still haven’t implemented.”
But right from Sean’s first story and metaphor, I could see this was different. I was hooked. The Brain Audit challenged virtually every principle of marketing I’d grown up with. Like selling benefit or never starting with a negative or problem.
And it’s this refreshing, innovative approach that makes the Brain Audit a must buy for anyone who is really serious about challenging the status quo and taking their business to new heights.
Already we’ve applied the principles to one of our workshops and the response has been fantastic. The Brain Audit and our ongoing association with Sean has been one of the best business decisions we’ve every made.

1. I didn’t know if the price of the book would be worth it. I thaught more than 100 dollars are to much for “just an E-BooK!
2. I learned alot about customers behaviours and the skills or art to get the client to point of call to action.
3. The conveybelt-principles are easy to understand, presented in a very cool and understandable manner, and were easy to implement in my articles and my website (even if there is still a bunch of things which have to be implemented as well)
4. 1. I didn’t know about the power of testimonials. Now I know!
2. As I found my personal target profile, after searching for my perfect client of last years, it turns out to be much easier to find the right words for my articles
3. The book has helped me alot to figure out what my uniqueness is about.
5. The book is worth the price, especially for those who haven’t have read so much about the topic “the psychology of a client”
6. Thank you so far for the content of this really great E-Book
Bye for now,
Benedikt
I am always a little reluctant about buying too much studying material at once. Plus, I was wondering if the kit would offer any extra value to the Brain Audit book. I was afraid of making an additional investment in a material that was already available to me.
The Brain Audit Kit helped me reflect in a deeper way how I was structuring my business. It helped me deepen my understanding of the material so that I could take the first steps on creating a bigger online presence to my business.
The specific feature you liked most about-The Brain Audit Kit
The audio version is the great winner. I love audio and can listen to vast amounts of info on my daily walks with my dog. At the time I started listening to the audio files, I hadn’t finished the Brain Audit book because I wasn’t finding time to do it. So, having access to the audio files has been a game changer for me.
Three other benefits?
– It got me thinking more deeply about the importance of uniqueness and what it means for me;
– Also on the importance of client objections and how to dissolve them;
– And most importantly, it inspired me to put a lot of time and energy interviewing my target client to find out what her most frustrating problem is.
5. Would you recommend this product and why?
Yes, absolutely. I’d especially recommend this product to anyone who needs a boost in their learning process. The audio version helped to “feel” Sean’s approach to marketing in a real, authentic and fun way. It made it more real to me and boosted me with enthusiasm to start applying the principles of the material to my work.
Being in the service industry, I didn’t think that I could apply marketing concepts without loosing the soul of my work. The Brain Audit material has helped me to change this limiting perception. It has opened me to ideas and concepts that can actually support me to grow my business in a way that I can have both ( and to make myself and my clients happier).

I wouldn’t have bought Brain Audit if I didn’t think it would teach me what I wanted to know about buyer psychology.
I’m happy to say that it lays out, beautifully, the exact steps you need to take to remove any reservations preventing your prospect from buying your product or service.
What I loved most was the chapter about interviewing your target prospect early on so that you know before hand whether or not to proceed with your offering.
It’s easy to read, concise, and has little cartoons sprinkled throughout which add an extra perspective to the points being tauget.
I’d definitely recommend this book as a foundational reading for anyone hoping to have success in advertising, marketing, or sales.
I was really leery of spending money on yet another internet marketing guide.
I felt very strongly that I didn’t want to buy yet another ebook on this stuff — got so many already, and most are just repetitions of the same old stuff you can find for free on the internet anyways.
What I actually needed, I thought, was some miraculous, unimaginable tool to read my product page and tell me where I’ve gone wrong. Not more marketing-guru schtick.
Also, I didn’t have a lot of time to waste, sifting through reams of stuff for the few nuggets of information I needed (the typical e-book experience).
Turns out my brain was the miraculous tool… my brain on The Brain Audit. 😀 Reading through the e-book the first time, it peeled away the layers of mistakes I’d made. I’ve studied a lot of web marketing stuff, and thought I had it covered. The Brain Audit showed me just what I’d missed, and where I’d gone completely wrong.
It was a nice surprise to find that The Brain Audit actually had a whole new way of approaching the idea — a way that makes perfect sense. You know those moments when something is so right, as soon as you hear it you think, “That’s so obvious! Why didn’t I ever think of it before?” There were a lot of those moments!
And it was easy and quick to read — that was a real gift! Doesn’t waste a lot of time with filler-material or complex jargon. It’s not academic, but practical and hands-on stuff… really grounded in do-able actions.
The Brain Audit gave me the information I really needed, in practicable actions. It was almost like having someone there beside me, going through my product page bit by bit, and showing me exactly what needed to change… and how to improve it.
Three other benefits?
The info on getting great testimonials was priceless. I’ve worked for years on developing testimonial questions to bring out the feedback I need, and could never get it down to half a dozen, specifically targeted questions.
As soon as I read Sean’s suggestions, it was one of those Aha moments… I dropped the book and redid my testimonial forms on the spot! And I’m getting much better responses.
I’d absolutely recommend The Brain Audit to anyone who has a great product but doesn’t understand why their sales page isn’t working, why their sales don’t match the worth of what they’re trying to offer!
It clearly lays out the psychological path that people unconsciously follow, and how to get that to work for you (as opposed to what most of us do, which is unsuspectingly having it work against us). The cost is very reasonable (one of the things that made me trust Sean was that his prices weren’t overinflated, as so many are), and I got more than my money’s worth with this little gem!
I’ve just started, and still haven’t implemented most of the stuff unfortunately (being in the middle of a big project, but I promised I’d read it before the new year, so… ) but I feel like I now know how to improve my sales. The Brain Audi plus my brain — who knew how potent a combination that would be!
Thanks so much, Sean! <3

Before buying The Brain Audit, I was wondering if it contained information I hadn’t already read, or wasn’t relevant for my business.
As a result of buying the product—It made me want to follow you more, and take the next step of joining 5000 BC.
The specific feature I liked most about-The Brain Audit was:
The easy to read and enjoyable writing style. I like that the information is presented in small, bite size chunks. It never feels overwhelming.
I really like your common-sense approach to business, and making honesty and integrity a priority. The Brain Audit was very affordable, and seems to be a great gateway into your products and services.
Other benefits:
a. Book is easy to read, and makes me want to read it again.
b. The book has excellent advice and convinces me that I want to learn more from you.
c. The book is extremely affordable.
I would definitely recommend the Brain Audit. I actually just told a student of mine about you yesterday.
You do a great job inspiring me to believe in myself and believing I can create something successful. When I read that you, too, started from nothing and parlayed your skills into an empire, I believe you are being honest. I like that you approach your business ethically and put people first.
Right now I have plans for expanding my business (I’ve been tutoring organic chemistry since 2004, but I’d like to create an online program), but I’m still in the early stages of information gathering and seeing which people I’d like to learn from and invest in. You are one of my favorites right now.
Eddie
For the past many years, I’m kind of a information junkie where I will buy a lot of self-help books, motivational books, marketing books. And then I even invest in seminars, conferences and workshop just to make sure I have enough knowledge to grow my coaching and consulting business. But many of them are very content driven and lack of proper structure and system for me to take action. So I was cautious in getting another self-help book due to the not good experiences.
But as I done research between Sean’s Psychotactics website and one of the other self-help guru, I find him to be more authentic.
Indeed when I start to read the “Brain Audit”, I begin to realize this book is a gem. Not only it is easy to read and digest, but the steps are implementable.
The best feature is the metaphor of the seven red bags. And I never thought that the most important of all is the problem you are trying to solve. When I create all my products and services, I focus on the solution and benefits, but avoid stating the problem. Sean’s book transform my mindset and it is a big trigger for me.
Each of the chapters gives a in depth of the entire structure why customers buy and why they don’t. It’s a great book and I love the checklist at the end of the book. It summarizes on what you should do in order to revamp your business.
I will surely recommend this book and Sean’s other products and services.
And after getting this book, the next thing you must get is to be a member of the 5000BC. It is Sean’s membership site and in it, there are a lot of positive minded members who are willing to support and help each other to grow in their respective business. I look forward to be more active in this forum.
I’ve worked for big and small ad & marketing agencies as a research and strategist in and around London for 10 years, and I’ve never seen anything so comprehensive and helpful as the Brain Audit for how to understand customers.
I wish that I had found Psychotactics and The Brain Audit 10 year’s ago. Now I am a freelancer and trying to set up my own business that takes me away from the fickle world of ad agency life, and I feel that I’ve found a system that helps me in a way that big brand thinking simply hasn’t.
I’ve gone from feeling like a competent strategist to a novice again. And that’s a good thing – life is always about growing and breaking down what you thought works and rebuilding – and that’s what The Brain Audit does for me.
What really works for me is the audio, not just the reading. I am a father with a young daughter and a wife and carving out time is tough, so audio suits me down to the ground. It means I can get to grips with the Brain Audit whilst doing the menial house tasks and commuting, changing obligated time into profitable time.
For me, the biggest bonus has proven to be the audio of the workshop. There is SO much in here. And all the questions I have ticking round my head as I am listening to it about how I am going to apply it to my business are almost all answered by the audience, who have similar questions. This helps fill in the micro-stepping stones of applying the learning, not just focusing on the the bigger, macro steps.
I can’t stress that you need to read / listen to The Brain Audit materials at least 3 times. Every time I miss something, and I am so glad that I have taken the time to listen & read again because my brain has updated like a Mac update since the previous listening, which means that I will pick up new details or ideas each time for applying to my business. I am starting to wonder if listening again and again will be an inexhaustible experience!
The weirdest emotional reaction that I have is that I want to tell people about it, but I also don’t want to because the learnings give me such a competitive advantage in how I role out my new business!
It reminds me of my parent’s dog with one of its pet toy wanting to keep it all to itself. Of course, that’s a childish attitude so I have told a lot of people, but it’s funny realising what my initial gut reaction was!
The depth of detail is extraordinary. It’s fits with the cliche of ‘the gift that keeps on giving’. From the access to the workshop audio and to the PDFs. It’s like a feast for the brain. And I am still gorging through it!
I have bought online business advice before and nothing comes close. The level of detail and nurturing that comes with The Brain Audit Kit is second to none.
For example, I have bought from Marketing Profs and been underwhelmed by the lack of simplicity and shallow learning, and I have almost bought from Ramit Sethi and was not convinced that there is much depth to his stuff. (I saw a link to Sean’s stuff in the product review forum comparing Ramit Sethi vs Psychotactics and recommending Psychotactics instead. This took me to Psychotactics and the website where I found out about The Brain Audit.)
The Brain Audit is different – it is an investment like buying the Encyclopaedia Britannica for understanding & selling to your customer.
Originally, I bought the book from Amazon. But then I saw the kit online and what you get is the same as the book but a lot deeper- you get a lot with the book but you get a Big Mac Super meal deal with extra fries and large, mammoth milkshake.

I’ve found Sean and The Brain Audit on quora.com threads, where I was looking for a review of an online course I wanted to buy (this was not a Psychotactics course). Almost everyone said that instead of enrolling that course, I should rather start at Psychotactics, and that reading The Brain Audit would be a good starting point for that.
As a result of the numerous raving comments on Sean’s work I had zero obstacles to buy the book.
After buying and reading it, it’s like someone lit a lightbulb in my head about marketing. I don’t even know how I haven’t heard about the seven baggages…
It gave me a framework, with which I can outline the message of my business in a way that people buy my product.
I’ve never heard about the importance of trigger or that uniqueness being such a key factor.
I really loved how Sean gives detailed real-life examples to support his thesis.
I’d recommend the book for anyone who owns a business, or just starting out. Really anyone, because the principles outlined don’t just stand true in the online world.
I started my own law practice and was interested in increasing my profile. I knew nothing about running a business and marketing myself. I hated the idea of marketing myself. I learned that blogging was a good way to market myself and I wanted to do something different from other lawyers. I wanted to create a blog for non-lawyers, my potential clients.
I started looking into what makes a good legal blog, how to write a good legal blog. I didn’t find a lot of information specifically for legal blogs. But I did come across people who made money through blogging (what people referred to as “passive income”). I saw that there were many courses on how to make money online. I came across Ramit Sethi’s course on making money online. I found the course expensive and wanted to know what the course taught.
I looked for reviews. Most of the reviews were either by him (his marketing campaigns) or people who had taken his course (and had found immense success). I was very turned off by his persistent sales pitch and his emphasis on the amount of money made. Then I came across a very long less-than positive review of his course. I found this review trustworthy. I continued searching for reviews of his course and came across a post suggesting that you offered similar but better content than Sethi.
When I searched your name I came across the Brain Audit (BA). I tried to find it at the local library but couldn’t. I also listened to a podcast of you being interviewed by someone else. I also read the free excerpt of the BA that I found online. I still didn’t know what to expect or whether the book would be useful. When I saw the price I though that it was reasonable. I wasn’t required to make a huge investment. If it was priced higher then I would not have bought it.
I was looking for business ideas, marketing ideas, blogging ideas specifically related to the legal industry. My search created an interested in online business (again specifically for online legal products) and also led me to you and the book. I was not specifically looking for the BA. I wanted to learn more about running an online business.
Price was the biggest factor that convinced me to buy it. I had never bought an ebook before. I’ve only bought books from Amazon or Indigo/Chapters. I though that most online businesses were run my fraudsters.
I also liked the fact that you were different from the others. Specifically, I liked the fact that, on your website or anywhere else, you didn’t claim that people could make lots of money after using your products.
After listening to that podcast, you sounded more trustworthy than the others. You gave valuable information without disguising it as an incessant sales pitch.
2. What you found as a result of buying the product?
I loved the book. I loved the way it was written. It blew my mind. I loved the cartoons. Because of it I started listening to your podcasts and started believing in what you said and believed that you knew what you were talking about. I believed that you genuinely cared about the people who are your current or future clients. I believed that you were not simply interested in making money.
In the back of my mind I started thinking about how this could apply to my legal practice. I started thinking about different aspects of my law practice-how to bundle services, how to price these services, how to market these services.
3. The specific feature you liked most about-The Brain Audit.
The way it was written. I loved the fact that you were able to get the message across through a story and that the parts were broken down into 7 components. It didn’t feel like I was reading a boring business/marketing book. I didn’t have to force myself to keep reading and convince myself that it was beneficially to read the entire book. I didn’t want to put it down and I didn’t until I finished it.
4. Three other benefits?
(a) I believed that it is possible for me to learn how to run a business online or offline. It is possible for me to learn and that it’s not impossible to learn. It is a matter of finding the information that is presented in a way that allows me to learn.
(b) It is possible to create a small inexpensive product that is powerful, that helps build trust between the creator of the product and the customer, and that helps build credibility for the person who created the product.
(c) It is possible to make any written subject matter, even something as serious as legal information, interesting.
5. Would you recommend this product and why?
Yes.
It provides information without being cocky or arrogant. It’s user friendly and not intimidating. When I read some business books somethings they make me feel as if the only way to succeed in business is to try everything the books suggest and if I fail it’s because I didn’t successfully execute all the suggestions properly.
The BA didn’t make me feel that way. It explained concepts clearly. To me, the book says that you need to understand what you are doing before you do it and the reason why your tactics may fail is because you don’t understand and not because you’re incapable of doing something correctly.
Anupa Varghese
“As a former Business Development Director, I had access to the best. I studied sales systems, methodologies, attended dozens of marketing conferences and read even more books.
There has been nothing more groundbreaking in my understanding of sales and marketing than ‘The Brain Audit’. This book took me by the hand, guiding me step-by-step into the mind of the customer, answering the “why” and “how” to questions I’ve wrestled with for years.
If I could only own one book on sales and marketing, it be ‘The Brain Audit’. The principles are timeless, making this book just as relevant today as it will be decades from now.”
-A. Christensen
I stumbled across the Brain Audit almost by accident. I was looking for some headline writing tips and found a guest blog by Sean on Copyblogger. On there was Sean’s free headline report.
From that I joined the newsletter. Then the opportunity came up to join the membership site 5000bc, so I grabbed it. Then I realised I was meant to have read the Brain Audit first! Ooops. Luckily it’s not a long publication, so I purchased the PDF and read it in an evening.
The book opened my eyes. I’ve been in design and marketing for 25 years, and it’s drummed into us from day 1 that you sell using benefits (rather than features). Not according to the Brain Audit. I’m in the process of setting up my own business, so the lessons in the Brain Audit have been fundamental to the way I’m approaching building my website and my sales pages.
It’s hard to pick one feature to single out about the Brain Audit (ironically) – I think its the way in which Sean breaks his concept down into tiny stages, and guides you along so you understand and are empowered with new information.
The book is completely written without hype; it’s written in plain English; it’s ultra-persuasive; and it contains a butter chicken recipe! What more could you want?
It’s helped me become a better salesman for my own business, and a better marketer for my clients.
The obstacle stopping me buy The Brain Audit was really a matter “when” not “if”. I knew I wanted to dive deeper in Sean’s material based on his podcast and emails.
As a result of buying the product, I found that it was a much easier read than I expected and I uncovered some areas where I could make huge improvements with little tweaks, namely having better testimonials.
The specific feature you liked most about-The Brain Audit was understanding the importance of testimonials and how to properly construct them.
Another benefit was that I understood why you need to identify one problem at a time and address each in sequence.
I would recommend this product because if you sell anything (and we all do), then Sean’s clear 7 red bag analogy is an easy framework to implement to ensure you don’t let sales fall through the cracks.
I’d add that Sean’s deep understanding of psychology and marketing is impressive and the fact that he effortlessly passes on this wisdom is a testament to his teaching style.
Probably the main obstacles that would have prevented me from
buying-The Brain Audit would be lack of time to read yet another book, and lack of clarity about what’s unique about the Brain Audit.
I’m a voracious reader of books on a wide range of subjects like business, psychology, learning, neuroscience, technology, buddhism and books related to martial arts insight and qi gong. I’m usually reading 3 books in parallel at any given time, dipping in and out, and I read most books cover to cover (unless I lose interest). So a book has to ‘speak to me’ as relevant at any particular time for me to buy it. And for that to happen, I need to understand what’s different about it that will add to my knowledge or insight of a given topic. I’m just as interested in a book’s insights about applying theories and insights, as I am about how a book’s leading edge approach, theories and insights.
What I found—It’s a sophisticated and yet simple read, which is a great compliment. The structure and content of the book itself is a brilliant illustration of the very techniques being taught, and is clearly a well-honed product. I found myself compelled to read on, and excited about applying the methods. I appreciated the simple messages and structure, and felt the metaphor and stories were used in a natural and memorable way making the learning really sink in.
Many great books I’ve read have moved me and brought new insights, only to disappear within a short time of reading them. The Brain Audit lessons have stuck.
The specific feature I liked most about-The Brain Audit is the structure based around the metaphor of the 7 red bags.
Three other benefits
1. Easy and quick to read
2. The ideas are brought to life with stories that add insight to the key messages and help relate the theory to real life
3. Practical orientation towards how to use the ideas, rather than explanation of how they work (I love theory, but I bought this book to learn how to better apply much of what I already know into a coherent structure and model that is pragmatic in use).

At first I just bought the book and debated on the kit. I thought it would just repeat what I had read, but I was wrong. The kit made everything much more clearer. It was so nice to hear a live workshop take place and gain a sense for how the audience was responding. I have seriously listened to the audio about 3 or 4 times. I learn something new each time.
Awesome! Can’t say how much it opened my views on how I could uncover potential clients with each bags! Have wasted time and money on so many products that called themselves how to teach to reach clients but this brain audit wins all of them hands down! Thanks, Sean and Co!
My aim is to make a website as conscious as possible. So that asks for know how in structuring your writing. I knew right away that The brain audit is ok for me, so there were no obstacles in the way.
This book is the best source explaining what branding is.
The specific feature I liked most about-The Brain Audit.
That you can highten your abstraction-level with it, deepen your
understanding of the subject. If you take time to let it sink in, it
makes writing texts much more fun.
Three other benefits
-indication of how to attract attention optimally
-explaining uniqueness
-explaining problem refining
I would recommend this product as it gives a lot direction and that is nice and saves a lot of time and misery.
Thanks for writing this book.

I bought two expensive products and thought my answers to sales and marketing will be finally answered, but to my surprise, I had only managed to burn myself… it was only theory that was not practical. Unwillingly I just pushed myself to buy the Brain Audit and BAM that was the answer to all my selling and marketing nightmars… I’m now getting real results from my sweat. What I like most about this book is that it does not only tell you what to do but goes further and tells you how to to it. I deffinitely recommend this book to everyone who wants real results in his/her business. No other book I have ever read comes close to this… this is it guys!
Just finished reading the Brain Audit and I had to email to say a big THANK YOU!
Having been in various forms of internet marketing for years, I wasn’t sure if the Brain Audit would offer me anything I didn’t already know but I took a peek at the (kindle) sample and I quickly saw it had really fresh ideas (and a fabulously engaging style!) and went for it. I’m so pleased I did – I learned tonnes which I’m going to start putting into action the moment I finish writing this email!
Your recommendations about every one of the ‘bags’ are all so helpful but I think my favourite aspect was ‘The Uniqueness’ – it’s something I’d been pondering about my business for a while and the exercises you’ve suggested sound like they’re going to be the most effective way to get clarity on this. Ideas are already spilling out of my mind!
I’ve already recommended a friend and I’ve also suggested some of these ideas to a friend who wanted some feedback on a marketing video.
So… THANK YOU!

After running this business on and off for 14 years, I’ve spent just one day with your book and have figured out what my customer’s REAL problem is.
And it’s not exactly what I thought, either.
All good stuff and I’ll be feeding this back at the next London SBI-ers meeting.
Thanks again!

I regret wasting my savings buying crap information. If only I had
stumbled upon your website sooner… I would have been miles ahead.
I have just finished reading your book (am reading it for the second time and will for the third time). Yes, I finally managed to buy it (kindle version).
All I can say is… its like a breath of fresh air… nothing short of
a masterpiece. I can even put my head on the block and recommend it blindly… superb job man.
