I will be honest. I didnāt have a business when I received the Brain Alchemy Masterclass. I was a very unlikely candidate! A business ignoramus! In fact, I was AFRAID of having a business! But I know this ā I can spot a master when I see one. And I WANTED to have a business. I listened to the whole class on .mp3s, which were provided and well recorded. I went through the .pdf material, and things slowly began to be clearer. To have a business is not a scary proposal as long as you understand what a business needs, how to prepare and plan and implement. There is nothing foggy about it.
My biggest learning was that even a business ignoramus can learn how to run a business efficiently and successfully if you learn at the hands of a Master, and Sean is a Master.
I did implement something. I went back and started at the beginning with the Article Writing Workshop, so that writing articles would not be a problem as I built my business. This has been a bit of an Achilles heel for me. I have not been disappointed there either. The article writing class is brilliant too. Of course, you have to work really hard. But actually, writing has gone from being a chore to a joy with the implementation of the ideas that Sean has laid out for us.
My business was pie in the sky until I took courses with Sean. Now I see changes happening, the path is clearing, writing articles is no longer a problem for me, and I am hopeful that within the next year I will have a solid business that I understand and can grow, up and running.
I will be honest again. I would recommend any course that Sean teaches. He is a wizard.

To be fair, I’d come across this general concept before (you can’t write content without using it), but your explanation was clearer and more thorough than any other I’ve heard or read.
LEVERAGE
As soon as I signed on with my clients I saw that there was room for leverage … i.e. that they could start selling aftercare equipment like lotions, antiseptic creams, etc. They loved the idea, are implementing it, and have asked me to please share any other suggestions I have!!!! :o)
The beauty of it all is that I was hired as a content writer for their website, but now have the potential to help them in many other ways!
SEQUENTIAL SELLING
Their website has a blog which Iāve been hired to maintain. And in maintaining the blog Iām going to combine sequential selling with three other concepts you covered, i.e. repackaging info, educating clients and getting an opt-in.
I will create PDFs with important information like ‘How to choose your tattoo’, to send to people considering getting tattoos. The PDFs will encourage them to visit the site for more freebies and we could then get them to opt-in for the next step of their journey with us (yet to be decided).
And of course, I’ll keep creating more PDFs for my clients, which means steady income for moi. Wooohoooo!!! š
And the best thing is that sequential selling is not a con since it benefits the client by breaking down your services into manageable chunks!
ADDING DRAMA!!!!!!!!
I attack my content with a new vengeance after you covered the importance of drama. I make an effort to move past ‘competent’ work and draft content that grabs readersā attention with a vengeance and entices them with promising whispers in turn. š
TESTIMONIALS
Your emphasis on testimonials and suggestions on what to focus on helped me get some nuggets from people who had been tattooed by my clients.
Folks who had initially written things like ‘Great work!’ or ‘You guys rock!’, were now telling me about how my clients ‘were able to intuitively get the deeper meaning of each tattooā and āhad such skill as to be able to imbue the tattoos with the essence of the emotion that needed to be expressed, thereby bringing them to life.’
Mind-blowing, huh?!!!! Lol.

The Brain Alchemy Masterclass accompanied me on some long walks over the past summer. Sean has distilled success secrets of the greatest information-based companies (including his own) and made them accessible.
What I loved most about it was how Sean set clear expectations. The end goal is to have a relatively self-sustaining business, being able to operate from anywhere and “chase the summer”. But in between it’s very hard work, and I found the advice very helpful in managing the transition between the unsustainable present, and the much-sought after future.
It was also great to hear the reactions, objections and questions of people in the audience. (In fact, hearing their objections was a way in which The Brain Alchemy Masterclass walks its own talk) š
Unfortunately I have been too busy to open it~ not that I do not appreciate what has been shared. Gotta prioritise and family, pets and friends and students keep bubbling to the top of my list.

I’m surprised by some of the comments to be honest, in particular from Ann Cornell.
Myself and my girlfriend have gone through the pdf a number of times and have found it fantastic value and full of extremely helpful ideas to grow and leverage my business and has also helped us brainstorm lots of ideas for launching a business for my girlfriend that will build ongoing value and not be limited to dollars for hours services!
It really does offer sound advice and a solid strategy to building a long term business that leverages your knowledge and places high value on that knowledge as well as showing you an easy way to sell that information and build upon that over time – actually rather than “easy way” that should read a “step by step” system to achieving this, unlike many others in internet land Sean doesn’t bull***t you, this is not a overnight success system, it does and will take time…and unlike many people around the world and perhaps on this page, success comes to those who put in the hard work!
The biggest learning for me is in the structure, the 3 prong system and in particular how to take advantage of “leverage”.
I’m in the process of implemention, so stay tuned.
There seemed to be a number of people that “didn’t” or “don’t” have the time to read the pdf or listen to the audio downloads, well I say to you at least try it out, you will be surprised by what you can learn š

I found the Brain Alchemy Masterclass to be a thorough and valuable class for anyone inerested in doing business on the internet. The course was astonishing when you take into consideration that it was no cost.
Anyone who did not learn some valuable techniques did not read through the course. This could have been sold for 200.00 and up and been worth the money.
I do not know Sean and I have nothing to gain by giving this course a resounding YES vote. Sometimes people do not appreciate free advice.
My biggest learnng was to include all 7 aspects of the purchasing experience. The airport luggage analogy was very clear and potent. It made the learning stick.
I really feel that everyone who downloaded this course and did not read it or listen to it is wasting their time trying to get into internet marketing. This is the course to learn from and implement.
It is amazing to read that so many have let this opportunity slide by.
Go back and go through Sean’s course. I have never come across anyone as successful as Sean so willing to share everything – at no charge.

Never got it. What happened?
I got a handful of audio files several months ago (I believed it was the first batch of files) and really enjoyed the content. Don’t remember getting the rest of the audio & materials, though… I’d love to access those, if they’re still available. I’m always impressed with all of the Psychotactics offerings.
I have just finished the Brain Alchemy Masterclass. It’s pure Sean, through and through. Which is to say it’s powerful strategy revealed with wit and soul. For me, the concept he calls the Spider’s Secret is worth the entire investment in the program.
This is, like all of Sean’s programs, suited for marketers of good will. Forgive me all you folks from other countries for making this analogy, but Sean’s systems remind me of our original American form of government (long since dead) that was summed up in an apocryphal exchange said to have occurred between Ben Franklin and an unidentified woman as he emerged from some federal building just after the constitutional convention.
She asked “What sort of government have you given us, Mr. Franklin?”
“A republic, Madam. If you can keep it,” he responded.
What he meant was that you needed a certain amount of education to be an ethical citizen of this new country. I think this is true of Sean’s systems. That’s why he attracts the kind of people he does. Monsters and derelicts need not apply. It’s not like you push the easy button and business plops out at the end. You’ll work at this under his care, protection and guidance until it feels right, then you’ll relax into it and everything that comes after will fold nicely into your purpose.
One other thing that makes this program stand apart is that it is very sequential and logical. Sean takes you by the hand and lets you know exactly what your responsibility is at every point along the way. It’s sort of hard to get lost, even if you try.
The reason for this is that he has the practiced ability to break a complex topic into smaller pieces, easily digestible, and that don’t give you indigestion afterward. Have you ever felt like taking a shower after reading some of the advice you get from internet marketers? I can’t imagine that ever happening with any of Sean’s programs, including this one.
I took the Website Masterclass before this one, and while this is a precursor in many ways, it certainly complements all of his work.
I can sum it all up with the following observation:
Perhaps the tone of Sean’s work is not for everyone.
But it should be.
Oh, I’m so embarrassed. I’ve been waiting for my life to settle down. That’s not gonna happen.
I’ve started tapping with my family doctor and it’s changing my life!!!

First of all when I got your email to get the course at no charge I thought it was another marketing gimmick. But, there was no catch, it was a gift!
I listened to the course as I walked my dog and while I listened I got mad at myself and happy with what I was hearing.
Why was I mad at myself? I have purchased a number of your products and have not gone through them completely, that was a mistake. I have purchased other marketing information products since, that was a mistake, I already had all I needed with your material.
Why was I happy? Your information looks at what I know in a different way. You go over the “what to do” and the “how to do it”, that is very rare. Your course is so good I sent out your email to my list and told them this is a huge opportunity.
Now here is what I didn’t tell you, I have been involved in sales and marketing for over 37 years. I’ve been coaching small businesses since 1995, I’ve written 2 books on the subject. I’ve given seminars on sales and marketing. I’ve won awards for my sales and marketing ability, and have been financially successful.
I have purchased many, many, courses because I always want to learn from others in my field.

I vaguely remembered something about this, so I did a thorough search of my gmail account and my computer.
On 2/11/09 I got an email from you saying “In a few weeks from now you’ll get the information and links so you can download the audio files” and since then, nothing. Till now.
I got a fantastic amount out of the course. I set aside two days to work at it solidly, and my study ended up looking like the room in “A Beautiful Mind” with a crazy outpouring of notes on every wall.
I now use it as a kind of filter for my business thinking: the three-prong system, the importance of strategic alliances, selling the problem not the solution, risk reversal, before and after testimonials. It helped me recognise and understand the strengths in my business and build on them deliberately and systematically, and to spot weaknesses and missed opportunities.
I’ve begun to apply the principles in my own business and also to help my brother and a friend in their enterprises. My brother is still getting calls from a Brain Alchemy-style sales letter two months after it was sent out.
On the minus side, as a stuffy Brit I found the guest presenter you had who was talking about manipulation a bit over the top. But that doesn’t stop this being about the best investment of learning time, hour for hour, I’ve ever had.

The hardest thing of learning is not the learning, but the implementing (consumption as you like to call it).
I listened to it all. That’s fine. But not good enough.
So I took one idea away from it that is extremely important for me to keep focused on.
And that idea is very simple.
When starting a project (that could become a business in due time), I must be willing to go out and leverage all three prongs. Although that sounds not so hard, it is for me who has a broad interest.
So now I do the three prong check before I start anything, which will help me to go all the way, instead of just dabbling.
So people who would like to start a business (or already have one but are wanting to expand it), this course is highly recommended.
The only sad thing is when you give a course like this away for free, customers won’t value it enough in my opinion.
But that’s your decision š
When I was offered the Brain Alchemy MasterClass for free, my heart pounded a little. What a great deal! ā¦what was the catch?
Well, the course was a few years old, the audio files were difficult to hear/follow at times, and the eBook wasnāt quite āpolishedā. Thatās why it was free, right?
Despite those minor points, the course contents were relevant and gave me plenty of āah-ha!ā moments. In fact, I listened to the audio files several times so I could take notes on everything I wanted to do! I wish I had paid for the MasterClass years ago so I could be ahead of the game now.
I could not write everything I learned from the Brain Alchemy MasterClass, but one of the ideas that energized my new business was the concept of starting small and then building from there. Sean explains plenty of ways to branch out (and make money doing so), but he uses everyday language to emphasize the importance of building a solid structure and process first. Iām in the beginning stages, but I trust that the MasterClass methods will serve me well.

I’ve spent thousands of dollars on marketing books, tapes, CDs, seminars, and in-home courses, but this Free material was eye-opening, refreshing, and understandable. I am always amazed by your fountain of knowledge! The course was fantastic, I got loads of practical tips in so many areas.
For example, I always hated going to network events, and never got many leads. I am following your idea of finding catchment areas instead and that is working for me.
Also useful was the idea that there are 3 parts of the business to focus on – training, consulting and leverage. As a result, I now have a website to promote my training and consulting (www.in-tuition.ie) and a website in which I will focus my leverage (www.practical-management-skills.com). I have work to do on both but thanks to you the path ahead is clear.
So any of you out there who are unsure – definitely invest the time in listening to this material. Its just great. Well done Sean.

Sometimes things just come together. I downloaded the Brain Alchemy Masterclass at the same time I was attending a FastTrac New Venture seminar series to overhaul my business and marketing plan. It gave me a lot of ideas for marketing and growing my company as well as some thoughts about developing products I can market outside our service area. I told others in the seminar about the Masterclass and we had some great discussions and brainstorming sessions. It’s been a great help to me in developing new materials and reaching new audiences. I strongly recommend this to you if you want to grow your business.

My biggest learning is that there is a set structure to how to answer objections – bring them forward in all their fullness and then nail them in a systematic way.

I used this on my sales page for my eBook – I modified it slightly so that the page wouldn’t be too long in view of the attention span of my readers who are patients with chronic illness. I chose a less cluttered page with fewer objections on it.
How did the implementation make a difference to your business?

Absolutely I’d recommend this course as a treatise on online marketing. It is thorough, packed with content and something I know I will refer to over and over again.

I am sorry. I meant to take the course but I have not had time to do so. I have so many free offerings it is hard to decide which one to take. Often they have a time limit to watch or listen to.
It’s on my ‘to do’ list but getting time and attention is the key reason that I have not tried your material. It has nothing to do with quality.
I have only just finished the all the audio and found it fascinating, particular the bit on triggers ie getting the problem solution and target audience in one headline.
As I am fairly new to article/ copy writing I have been trying to incorporate all this into my web copy. It has certainly helped me, but I could not give you a definitive impact as I only do this currently part-time and so my marketing is very limited.
Yes I would recommend this course as I have never heard many of these important concepts before and Sean presents them in a simple bit size way that increases your understanding of the topic
I don’t recall opting-in for the Brain Alchemy MasterClass course. At any rate, I have no record of paying you money (assuming there was a charge), I have no audio files, and I have no notes in PDF.
However, as I write this I’m becoming aware of a memory trace regarding the matter but it’s too ill-defined to be useful.
Now I’m trying to recall if I have amnesia but, of course, if I do I wouldn’t recall that either.
Please enlighten.
The major ahas I received from Sean’s course were:
– offer two versions, with a premium upsell, so that clients could decide between yes and yes vs yes or no
– in writing testimonials, start with negative expectations and then show how you conquered those objections

Since receiving the materials, I have gone through the whole course quickly and worked through the first three sections in some detail. My biggest learning has been a reinforcement of something I have come across before – my business will do best when it meets my clients’/customers’ needs and helps them trust I will do that rather than being about me.
My main business is real estate sales, and I am in the beginning stages of developing an internet marketing business. The two come together in the ways I am expanding the internet marketing portion of the real estate business. The most important thing I have implemented so far is focusing my communications with clients more specifically as I go, keeping in mind my target audience, their problems and the solutions I can offer. I keep those points consciously in mind each time I write an email or send a letter. And that comes directly from what Sean taught me through this course. I have begun to accumulate “templates” by saving my communications and using them over instead of re-creating them each time.
Also, a couple bonuses have come from the course for me. I have begun to use mind-mapping regularly and find it to be a good tool. And I both have a mastermind group and an accountability partner to help keep me disciplined. Sean’s influence has helped me and I look forward to putting more aspects of the course into practice over time.

Well its a while ago that i listened to it, and as i am constantly listening to audio books/courses they blurr together a little. But i had the feeling of wanting to listen to it again, as i usually get a lot out of the second listening of an audio book. The info was beneficial, especially from the point of view of seeing a little more on how you see the world. What i mean is that when listening to someone who has a talent and you understand their thought process (more than just the facts& data) it somehow changes your own altitude on things and thus gives a different perspective. I need to work on my clarity more in order to find the right path to apply all these very useful concepts on day to day basis. Its like finding an impressive box of tools capable of world dominationā¦ but there needs to be some internal growth/maturity/experience to be able to really get resultsā¦ i’ve been on a quest for very cool tool-boxes, but i now really need to put more focus on doing (with those tools)

Thank you for providing so generous an offering as the Brain Alchemy Masterclass – all the audios of your 2004 Los Angeles seminar, and the notes. I have since purchased your Brain Audit book, so I have essentially switched to the book as the concentrated version of your program.
The seven bags, which need to be dealt with in sequence, is a fantastic proposition. What I especially found helpful is the importance of the ‘problem’, and the need to agitate the problem, rather than deliver an immediate solution.
For my part, it has been some time since I heard the audios, and read the Brain Audit, so I am a bit rusty on all of the important things of note. I also need to juxtapose the Brain Audit/Masterclass with other material related to the business planning and operations of running a business (having previously lost a lot of money in another venture and rightly being very careful before I start a new one, without sufficient business and marketing tools!).
What I do like about your method, Sean, is that you synthesize the essence of the marketing method into core components, but in a way that makes it tractable and manageable. This frees the mind from too much clutter and allows one to hone in on the core matters in one’s market. I should say, however, that reading Dan Kennedy, again, has also really opened my mind (again!) to the importance of the ‘problem’ that the potential client has, which you hope to solve for him. This is important for me, because I do not have omniscience nor can I state with confidence that I will know for certain whether the solutions I provide will answer the needs of my clients. In economic terms, can I provide value to my client (product/service) in exchange for value (money); this is the uneven exchange of value: each party perceives the value he receives is greater than given – and it is the beauty of the capitalist market economy.
I will listen to (some of) the audios again, and possibly read some of the Masterclass text. I will focus more on the Brain Audit which, by the way, I purchased after I received your Masterclass materials. It is fantastic material, even though the discursive dialogue in the audios contain an aspect of working through propositions and problems; this can sometimes delay getting to the main point, but at other points the interaction is most important. In other words, it takes time to absorb the material and then to apply it, so one must be patient.
I will continue to use it as an integral part of my marketing. Thank you.
I saw the first fourth and can definitely say it was more useful than any college class I’ve ever done, hands down. Sean is a great speaker, and his homey voice tinged with an accent makes me feel quite comfortable.
Unfortunately, my computer crashed after the free offer ended when I was 1/4 through, but I got it for free, so who can complain?
The Brain Alchemy MasterClass brought about a complete change in the way I approach Marketing & Sales in my business. The program is just brilliant. The learning that Sean imparts is scientific, yet jargon free. The workshop content is easy to understand & implement.

Although I’m only partly through it, it made me confident that I can actually build the business I’m thinking of. It made me confident, that there are structures and solutions to all my the problems I see/saw.
The thing that really built a nest in my brain and has been colouring my outlook on business since then is the Three-Prong System. It’s basically a blueprint for building a long-term business and it even helps me in by employed job, giving me a model of how to think about business.
So far, I haven’t implemented nothing in the sense of making it something tangible for other people to see, but a) my notes about my planned business venture have a new structure and b) it helps me in my day job, thinking about how I can help my boss grow his business.
If you want to get some really cool mental models for how to build and grow a business (or any organisation at all, I think), this Masterclass is for you.
And as an added benefit, Sean comes across as a real person, caring about the learning and success of his participants.

I was able to listen to about 75% of the audio files that I downloaded. I found the information useful but because I am still in the process of deciding on what business/service to enter, I am not yet able to implement any of the ideas discussed. Once I decide on my business, I will go back and listen to the files again. I would recommend the class to others.
Got your email requesting feedback on the course I received last year. I hate to mention this, but I don’t remember getting the course and have therefore, not used it and have no feedback. With that said, I would love to get the course, promise I would use it and provide feedback.
