5000bc now has a Waiting List. The waiting list joining time is approx. 21 days. So if you are serious about getting your business to the next level, get on the waiting list now.
“I avoided joining 5000bc for a long time due to the cost, but I am glad I did.”
“5000bc had been recommended by a Caver, and I took a look at it.
The cost of joining was small relative to my recent terrible
purchase, but I was in no spending mood at the time…understandably.”
Within a couple days of joining, I soon realized that Sean walks
the walk and talks the talk. Not only was Sean contributing to
the forum, but the calibre and quality of the feedback from other
members was invaluable and definitely free flowing.
What I found instantly on 5000bc were answers to my most pressing
questions related to my business. That made the cost of joining
5000bc, even after only a week or so of being a member, insignificant
relative to the value received.
I want to feel a sense of community and belonging with people who are like-minded as I work toward building my own company/business to support myself and my children.
I’m learning as I go and I believe that being part of the 5000bc community and being able to ask questions (and get honest answers) as I move forward will be invaluable in helping me achieve my goals.
I joined 5000BC because primarily because of the way that you and Sean make me feel through consuming your content.
Outstanding factors:
Incredibly structured and easy to consume.
What I mean by this is it feels easy to take one-step-after-another because
a) we are told what that step is, and
b) instructions on how to take that step.
I don’t just mean when joining 5000BC, but the way the books are written from the Brain Audit’s 7 Red Bags to Client Attractors with the Features, Benefits, and Bullets. I find most self-development, or business development books/courses, and even project management in universities all talk about topics on a high level but never go into depth on how one implements the steps.
I am still in the process of implementing the steps, and therefore am certain I will have questions, but the starting point is far more clear than other courses I’ve taken and/or books I’ve read.
I think this highly accounts for the resistance we tend to feel when we go through behavioural change. You’ve made it far easier to begin participating in the conversations at The Cave by giving daily small instructions on how to get started and you’ve also cultivated a cult of, “Be kind, be helpful, or begone.” So short, punchy, and easy to understand.
Valuable content.
I am currently in the midst of starting up my own coaching practice (with the intention of making it my full-time ‘job’). I believe that the content I have consumed thus far is valuable and can only assume that there is much, muuuuch more available that will be helpful on my journey.
Reasons I joined:
Accountability
I love that this space welcomes folks from all walks of life from all over the world. We are all working towards our dreams and this space is highly collaborative where we can help others and learn from each other.
I find myself finding inspiration and motivation the most when there are others involved in my journey. Joining is my way of deliberately choosing the environment that would most likely encourage me to do more and reach farther.
What were the obstacles that would have prevented you from joining 5000bc?
If it were too expensive, I might not have joined. If I thought it were full of too much promotion or people with big egos bragging all the time.
2. What you found as a result of joining 5000bc.
I’ve found very kind people willing to learn and to teach. I also found a place to post my writing exercises when I took the Article Writing Self Study. That alone was worth gold.
3. The specific feature you liked most about- 5000bc.
I met a local person Mike Jara, whom I wish was still in 5000bc. Mike and I have met in real life a few times. And also I’ve gotten to know Sean and you as well 🙂
4. Three other benefits?
The vanishing reports are pretty cool. Sean answering questions with a series of articles is quite amazing.
5. Would you recommend 5000bc and why?
Yes, I recommend it. It’s a great way to get coaching from Sean and others who can help you solve problems that show up in your business.
Thanks for all your great work. It’s had a big impact in my desire to have my own business and build my own version of a great life.
I’ve followed your work with psychotactics for a few years, and resonate with so many of your personal and business philosophies.
I joined 5000bc because I have a business idea that I’m excited to take action on, but I need:
Help figuring out where to start with my website, copy, articles, emails, etc., so potential clients can find me online, see me as an authority, and pay to book a consultation with me
Accountability, motivation, and a sense of community from others going through the process or that have done it already
Help with learning the skills more quickly, rather than spending more time sifting through more information as you always mention
I’ve always wanted the freedom of my own business, the 3 month vacation to spend more time with family, and to really enjoy what I do. And I also highly dislike ever having to ask for vacation time from my boss, as I heard Sean once say in a podcast 🙂
I’m looking forward to being part of the Cave and succeeding with my first online business!
All the best,
Scott Schwalich
I wasn’t sure if the information would be as applicable to me starting out as a brick and mortar business. But, I had dabbled with the idea of a future digital business, and your principles of Teacher not Preacher, Hotel California, and staying a small(ish) family run business hit home with me.
As a result of joining 5000bc, I found:
-It was refreshing to be engaged in conversations with international people who were in different industries, both online and brick and mortar. It took the self-inflicted worry of “competition” out of my communication; in other forums I always felt that the tone would swing away from genuine helpfulness as the thread expanded. Not so here.
-I like that Sean and Renuka are actually available to response if needed. I like that I don’t need to pay for a higher level of membership (or continue to be marketed to do so) in order to have that access.
—Also, I love that the Cave Elves are actually engaged 5000bc members, often working on their own projects. They offer much better advice than some of the paid business associates I’ve worked with in various coaching programs.
Three other benefits about 5000bc:
-How to Series for beginning and revisiting the basics
-Taking Action buddy system
-“Tone” of the environment – meaning a place to think and learn, not self-promote or compete. Essentially – the introvert! 🙂
Yes; I would recommend 5000bc to someone who is a lifelong learner (there’s a lot of reading to be done in 5000bc!), who is serious about understanding their customers, and is looking for a long term learning platform.
Rita Chorba
I belong to another similar group that also has really good advice from the members… but it’s just too tough to find out the required info which is all archived. So, I decided to try 5000bc.
Your articles and advice were great… really got me moving…
I like how you lead some members through their work, almost Socratically…
Three other benefits about 5000bc
a. help from members who have “been here… done that”
b. access to critical info from free stuff and paid stuff
c. pointers from members on where to go to find
Garry Worger
On the waiting list
I’m a past member, and I now realize that you’re membership and your team are truly unique. I look forward to rejoining your group.
Kind Regards,

When I first looked at investing in 5000bc, my concern was if the advice would be mainly theoretical and neglect the modern technical how-to’s of website setups and marketing tools.
I was completely wrong, between the combined experience of Sean, all the members of the Cave in 5000bc and the backlog of articles there was a solution to be found for any problem.
The specific feature I liked the most is:
The Taking Action section of the forum. Very often we can lose sight of our mission and cast them to the side (especially the daunting ones), but with such kind and encouraging group of people cheering you on it is hard not to take action.
I also like:
—Access to Sean directly, by tagging his name he can see a question you asked him especially. And I am astounded by the generosity in his answers, there is no stone left unturned.
—’Be Kind, Be Helpful, Or Begone’ atmosphere, it spoke to me from the beginning because I wanted an encouraging environment to get advice, learn and grow my business without the usual forum drama.
I would recommend 5000bc to anyone looking to for a supportive community of individuals determined to grow their businesses with online marketing.
Sean shares more than just advice on Marketing and Online Business in 5000bc, he shares his personal philosophies and lessons on lifelong learning, perseverance and entrepreneurship – and they are just as valuable.

Having received the Psychotactics newsletter for a number of years I felt I had a good understanding of what 5000bc would offer. The community was on my radar, but the timing was never quite right. I seemed like every time enrollment opened other commitments of time, money, or both always seemed to be at maximum opposition.
Although the timing wasn’t that great in April, I knew I wanted to get past some roadblocks I’d been facing for quite some time. While I’ve been a slow to get involved since joining, I know some of the information and examples I need are inside the community.
The pro and con of 5000bc is the vast amount of information available. It’s almost overwhelming. Especially if you won’t/can’t/don’t commit a couple of hours in a block to seek out articles, comments and replies that fit the area you want to improve.
The specific feature I like most about 5000bc:
Sean’s experience along with Renuka’s enthusiasm creates a rich learning environment. But it’s more than that. 5000bc teaches how to apply the material it offers to a members daily business and personal life.
Three other benefits about 5000bc:
—Access to the vanishing reports.
—Early access to soon to be release products and courses.
—My favorite by far is direct access to Sean and his experience in creating online products.
I would recommend 5000bc:
Once people begin to move out of the hoarding stage of their personal-development journey, that’s when they are a good fit for 5000bc. That’s when I wholeheartedly make a recommendation about joining. Sometimes even over the option of working with me.
-Alan Jackson
I really like the reports and articles which give me answers to specific questions like how to ask for testimonial; how to avoid writers block or how to prepare stunning presentations.
Also, like the information which is actionable – which I can right away try same day in my workplace or in tasks at hand.
Appreciate these articles being shared more of even if possible as small posts on forum.
Also, your conscious effort to onboard and keep students motivated by going to extent possible to solve our challenges. Really appreciate it!
Thanks,
Rahul Joshi
I don’t remember having a big obstacle when joining 5000bc, really. The choice was between this and Ramit Sethi’s Zero to Launch. I did agonize a little between which one to choose.
Of course, 5000bc is much less expensive, but what sold it for me were the great reviews online, particularly in relation to having direct access to yourself, and your lack of filler talk. I do remember thinking that the website could be a little clearer though, with price points.
As a result of joining 5000bc:
I found a lot of good information, which I am still making my way through, and a lot of seemingly genuinely nice people, who are willing to help. I perhaps haven’t taken advantage fully of this last part of 5000bc
What I like most, and was the main reason I joined, is the direct access to yourself.
Expert advice with bespoke answers, not just off the counter business speak that I can get from reading a book. And I have plenty books, so I needed something a little more personal. After that, I do enjoy the articles and podcasts, which I listen to anytime I have some free time, or during work.
4) Three other benefits about 5000bc:
Strong community of people willing to help you and answer questions.
Very useful articles
No spam or forced upsells
As I have said, I possibly haven’t used 5000bc to its fullest potential. That being said, for me, its been worth the money just for discovering the TAP, which has literally transformed my productivity and my life.
This small piece of advice about planning your life, and not taking on too much, but still taking on enough, has allowed me to get more done than I would have been able to do at any time previously, and is in fact part of the reason that I’m not in the cave all that often!
The section on how to create a target profile and how to do an interview for one was extremely beneficial for me!

What I like about 5000 BC is knowing that I have a resource full of amazing and inspiring information. Even if I don’t need it right now, it’s there. I like how present you are. And I like how the conversations are interesting and useful.
Colette Nichol
I wasn’t sure if I could justify the cost, given I only had vague ideas about wanting to start up in some sort of business after finishing full time employment and escaping the corporate rat race.
As a result of joining 5000bc, I found:
It exceeded my expectations in terms of content, both quantity and quality. The overall “feel” of being a member and part of a community where all are valued and encouraged to learn and achieve and act.
What I like most about this 5000bc:
The concept of “be helpful, be kind or be gone” – it sets the culture of the community perfectly.
Three other benefits about 5000bc:
– How much material there is. So much to read and learn. It’s quite scary at first until you realise you don’t have to read it all, and you won’t be tested on it!
– So many examples that can be fitted to different circumstances.
– The opportunity to offer your own insights to help others, and vice versa.
Would you recommend 5000bc?
Yes. Because the benefits are unique to each individual, as well as ones common to us all. It’s a good safe place to hang out online.
One more thing:
5000bc really is greater than the sum of it’s parts. You can list the parts, and on their own, they are all individually valuable. But combined together they are worth much more.
What I LOVE about 5000bc:
Is you and Renuka living your message, and always reminding us that it’s about serving the customer in the most natural and effective way possible.
You are a safe harbor in a world of manipulative bloodless money-grubbing marketers, which is why I was so relieved to find you both and while I will always return to you.

Having read The Brain Audit and bought one of your products, I was already sold on the membership site.
I was in a coaching program prior to joining 5000bc. It had a forum. The forum was very active among members, but the guy who ran the program was not very active. When I joined 5000bc I was surprised to see how quickly and throughly Sean responded to my posts. I’ve been extremely impressed and thankful for that.
The speedy and thorough responses from Sean.
Three other benefits about 5000bc
1. Fast responses that actually help.
2. A huge body of knowledge to draw from, both in the forum and in the accompanying resources.
3. Accountability
I would recommend 5000bc it because it’s very difficult to see the mistakes you’re making when you have a fraction of the experience and knowledge Sean (and others on the forum) have.
Nicholas Anderson
The first hesitation was the price as I am not into the buying information or forums subscription. I do know that your knowledge is immense and you will give me the good value of my money and I wanted that but there was no push factor in my life. I was not operating a business was thinking of but still not started yet.
I think joining 5000BC was one of the wisest decision I ever made in my life.
The result was instant I left my job within few days of joining 5000BC by having interaction with you. Thank you for giving me that push which I desperately required.
I find everything very interesting in 5000BC. Interactions, how to series, vanishing reports all are interesting and very helpful for the particular topic. I refer to them whenever the need arises.
When I feel sleepy I open the 5000BC (mostly after having lunch) :D.
When I feel demotivated I open 5000bc.
When I want a particular solution to a business problem I open 5000bc.
Whenever, I see some of my friends who wanted to start a business or interested in any type of marketing advice I recommend them Psychotactics or 5000bc.
6) I love to interact with you and Renuka. It is like a good feeling arises when I receive your mails. I try to grasp and follow as much as you say. It is great to have you both.

Mukesh
(From Pink City)
To begin with, I was unhappy the way my work life was going and is restricting me in many ways. In my search for becoming effective at work; I have gone through much of mentoring books, self-help books, websites and advice out there internet on including from those talking about becoming rich; to those appealing towards effective altruism. I found that my goal is not just becoming rich or have alternate incomes but to effectively build something better, be transparent, to contribute and in the process make a solo-preneurship.
I have come to conclusion that; I need to start working on my ‘individual enterprise’ somewhere besides my day job, for long term job satisfaction. Some of reasons included work-life balance, options to job redundancy, level of freedom, sense of purpose and level of optimal earning to come to the conclusion. With all this thought, I wanted to start on writing a blog or an ebook – as starting point and needed precise mentoring.
My biggest obstacle:
Every now and then I get excited about some learning idea/website and buy subscriptions. I was hesitant that, 5000bc will be yet another subscription I will go for and not even read the material or try utilizing any of it. Yes, it’s difficult to convince yourself and family that one is not just burning money on subscription without effectively taking any steps to utilize the great advice. Also, being IT professional, I know that one can easily standup a website/blog to make quick bucks with generally superficial advice, which was my obstacle/skepticism.
On joining 5000bc:
First thing I found that, 5000bc is really committed and having high quality advice. It’s not just information but really helps to take action to build skills.
Also, I found that it’s community of like minded members, who are committed for long term are serious about helping and passionate. The topics of discussion cover so many aspects relevant to launching and building your own practice or venture; I believe it’s really the treasure trove of best advice I would get at a single place.
Internet is a jungle of information, sometimes good but many a times misleading. It’s lot of waste of time and energy if you keep going in circle for right advice over internet. After joining 5000bc, today it’s my single and rich source for ideas, learning and advice.
Specific feature I like about 5000bc:
Attention and energy Sean, yourself have been giving to respond to any smallest query/learning/problem is awesome.
For my simple query about time management challenges and focus, you have gone to extent of writing a series of articles and helping through with how to manage energy and chaos planning. With this, I could work out the GTD system in combination to Chaos Planning to effectively manage my time.
And really as a starter, could go on 3 days of vacation. 🙂
Three other benefits:
– Excellent quality additional and totally free course material like Brain Audit Masterclass, vanishing reports, interviews and discussions – it’s much more than what one can call ‘goodies’.
– Great community support to keep me motivated and sharing real life experiences; I am astonished by the amount of co-operation and help available every time any question is asked.
– The overall 5000bc participation helps to keep me motivated.
I would recommend 5000bc:
Even if someone has established small business, I believe there is a lot Sean has to offer and add to. I have recommended 5000bc to my friends who work as entrepreneurs or solo-prenuers.
Sean, your enthusiasm is contagious and motivating to keep going.
Thanks again, Sean!
Cheers,
Rahul Joshi
I am not much of a forum type of person. Before 500bc, I joined a few private facebook groups of other online marketers but I never got much out of it.
I now had reached a point were I knew, that I would need more support from other people with somewhat the same goals. So when I stumbled over your podcast and 5000bc my biggest issue, beside the feeling of being uncomfortable sharing thoughts online, was the language barrier. Since my language is German.
A couple of weeks after joining 5000bc, together with three other members, we set up a private mastermind group.
Now we meet via Skype on a regular base. This was something I wanted to do for quite some time, but did’t know were to find the right persons to team up with. Luckily 5000bc solved that for me.
The language ist not so much an issue as I thought it might be.
Actually it is quite some fun for me to also improve my languages skills.
A second result of my membership is that it really speeded me up in moving forward and reaching my goals.
The specific feature do I like most about this 5000bc—The possibility to get specific questions answered not only from you, but also from others.
Three other benefits about 5000bc:
– The ton of information that is not only to be found in the forum, but also in the series and reports.
– The taking action forum
-The great crowed of people.
Yes, I would recommend 5000bc.
For me working in a very technical area it is very easy to access technical information. But getting great support with marketing questions is something very valuable.

What was the obstacle in your mind that would have prevented
you from buying into 5000bc?
Originally it was just an investment thing (this was way back the first time I joined)… would it be of value and learnings helped me reach my customers better.
This year I was facing major changes… lost job that sustained my business (designed that way… was only short time from retirement… and not likely after 20 years to lose the job… then bam!) Suddenly needed to depend on small profit business to survive. Yikes! What would help me most? What can I afford?
The one thing I’ve always found from your work and sharing… I learn things I use and they have a real impact on what I do… going way back to original Brain Alchemy and Audit. I followed the process and saw direct results with my job and my business.
What I like: The people, the sharing, the keeping us engaged, the positive attitude of you and Renuka. You have what I need in terms of information/learning… just need to carve more time for it. I personally have not stabilized from the changes in my life so there’s still the stage of too much to do, too little time, … I will be happy when I am able to actually devote more % to learning and implementing and participating more in Cave.
Three other benefits about 5000bc
a) great, helpful information in easy to understand manner
b) perspective, suggestions, and input of people from very different walks of life … yet common ground
c) continual learning
I would recommend 5000bc: For all the benefits above… and everything I’ve used from Psychotactics works!
Hope to get to meet you and Renuka some day… either we’re on tour in NZ or you’re doing class (or just vacationing on Kauai)…
Sandy
I have never been part of a community before. I tend to find a load of egotistical people on there when I’ve looked. Or I’ve found a ghost town.
The word ‘online community’ makes me recoil still because I have such strong associations with crap ones. That said, you did an AMAZING job of convincing me that 5000BC was a special place of likeminded people. And because you were on there so often, it was a double bonus. You’ve basically redefined what an online community should be.
My learning has sky rocketed. The feedback from people in the forum was like no other. It’ literally turned an average home page into one that worked when I beta launched my homepage. The constant advice from you Sean has cut out so many errors from going alone. You really are an ‘Error Reducer’.
And that for me is the secret benefit. Because errors cost. and you don’t realise how much the cost you in money and time when you are naive and start out, until it’s too late. But you know the true emotional and practical cost of errors. And you nudge us over the rickety bridge of startups that sees so many casualties down down below in the valley of almost-ran businesses.
Kindness. I have had my confidence heavily knocked by certain people in the past with more ego than talent. This made me afraid to open up to people professionally. The kindness radiates across the groups and forums and I feel safe to open up and realise that actually the world is full of decent people who want to work hard. I just had to work hard to find them.
I like:
The speed of your and memers answers. I check my email last thing at night and first things in the morning for replies. If it’s overnight, I tend to dwell on the answers and reply 12-24 hours later. It’s like crack cocaine without the downsides.
Yes, I would recommend it, but only to people who I know are kind and want to work hard. I feel quite protective of the culture within 5000BC, and anybody who doesn’t fit into that philosophy would only dilute it.

5000bc is a place where I’ve pushed my boundaries, a place where I’ve been gently nudged to go out of my comfort zone and try out new things. This is a place where I’ve made progress on a lot of items that I otherwise wouldn’t have. This is a place of pure action, support, comfort and warmth. 5000bc is my virtual family.

The main thing I like about 5000bc is access to Sean and that you’re really there, not just some fleeting presence every now and then.
And there are others who are friendly, knowledgable and have done things I don’t yet know how to do. So it’s not just information (that’s helpful), it’s more like I can get very tailored, bespoke information, encouragement and guidance for my exact, personal, unique situation from you and others.
That’s the biggest help I’ve found.

Having received the Psychotactics newsletter for a number of years I felt I had a good understanding of what 5000bc would offer.
The community was on my radar, but the timing was never quite right. I seemed like every time enrolment opened other commitments of time, money, or both always seemed to be at maximum opposition.

– Access to the vanishing reports.
-Early access to soon to be release products and courses.
-My favorite by far is direct access to Sean and his experience in creating online products.
Everything is trust, isn’t it. 5000bc is a place with what appears to have a trustable and knowledgable leader who is accessible. Essentially, a place to help a rookie like me to start to develop marketing skills for my business ideas.
“The membership fee is less than what I pay for my annual chamber of commerce dues, but the value I get is so much greater.”
“5000bc has some amazingly brilliant, successful and inspiring business people from all industries. I can’t believe how helpful and friendly the forum members are.
One of my objectives when signing up was to be in the company of business people more successful than me so I could learn from them. I definitely found an abundance of them here. I am also impressed at Sean’s involvement in the day-to-day conversations taking place in the forums.
The quality of interaction and the caliber of the other members makes this a great place to visit and be inspired to improve my own business.”

This is what I like about 5000BC. The willingness to share knowledge. To help others with what every one has or is willing to offer. The friendliness, encouragement. I’ve realized that even most of the new members who don’t know much about 5000BC are eager to help.
The most important part for me is that Seam take the time to answer our questions. Some of those answers are short but the other ones are longer, precise, practical and flavoured with some humor here and there.
I’m really fascinated how you created this safe place in this weird and crazy www.
5000BC is THE ONLY forum I recommend to every one I speak about who has a business or want to start one. I even encourage some of my friends to learn the english language so that they could join 😉

My favourite part about 5000bc is the character of the community.
From knowing that you will personally answer my questions to knowing I can post my own answers without getting ridiculed is really nice.
I’m just getting started, but once my business is rolling, I will certainly pay it back to the community. I’ve never seen anyone put anyone else down in the Cave.
