I was annoyed of having to buy the Camera+ 2 app to utilize the information. It seemed like an extra cost on top of the iPhone Photo Magic ebook.
As a result of buying the product.
I was able to take better photos for my thumbnail images on Youtube. And because of what I learned from Sean, I was able to make a better thumbnail that got me a lot more views than I expected on YouTube.
The specific feature I liked most about “iPhone Photo Magic”:
The content is very easy to learn and implement. This is an ebook that you read once and can utilize quickly. I was surprised by how I was able to still take better photos weeks after reading the ebook.
Three other benefits:
Once you know the basics, you can become creative with taking photos
You will feel more confident in taking better photos
You can easily take an average photo and make it look better. So you don’t have to worry about getting the perfect shot.
I would recommend this product to anybody who feels like they are not good photographers. With the internet, it’s easy to feel insecure about not having great photography skills. But with iPhone Photo Magic, you will be able to have great photos to show off.
One of the best purchases I made in 2020. I always felt bad for not taking great photos and I didn’t want to learn since it looked complicated. But now, taking decent photos is no longer a problem I have.

I’m typically overwhelmed with the endless filter options and apps available for the iPhone, and didn’t really feel like my time and effort to learn was worth it right now. But, I started to take more pictures this year, so I purchased iPhone Photo Magic to help me get some fast competency.
I have been so pleased with the product. Easy, quick, actionable steps and just a few clicks can totally transform my photos. My friends are really impressed! That was unexpected, but now they ask me how I did it! I actually avoided taking many pictures in the past because I never thought they looked any good at all, but I have been encouraged to experiment more often now.
While the actual filter education was quite valuable, the book also includes useful information about basic photography structure and guidelines. I didn’t think I could learn these basics without more involved study!
The 5-Minute iPhone Magic eBook truly lives up to its name. Thank you!

I knew I needed to do something about my photos … but didn’t know what and didn’t want a huge course. Little tweaks here and there was my goal for improvement.
iPhone Magic does just that – I get familiar with one of the recommendations for improving photos and then move to another. No one has to learn one at a time – it’s the user’s preference.
Information is helpful and interesting. I experiment more than I used to with photos.
My photos aren’t “perfect” — they are improving — just like me ;^)
I’m a fan of Psychotactics — I like the incremental learning steps suggested. Sean and Renuka generously share information. Thank you.
Is this product still available?
For months before I bought this, I didn’t have an iPhone.
I knew a lot of the things that you suggested, but it was very nice to have a step-by-step guide to better photos. “Think of this, take more photos, play with these 3 filters first” gave me a track to start with. Of course, I can experiment and explore later as I feel more comfortable.
I love the videos. That’s hilarious, because I don’t really use the videos. I think I’ve watched them once. But I love knowing that they’re there if I ever need another walkthrough.
Three other benefits:
– The information reminds you of things that you think “oh, well that’s obvious” – but in a good way. You never feel stupid when reading it.
– It was good enough information to use in the creation of my new eBook’s cover!
– It’s almost impossible to take awful photos after having this information.
I didn’t get a ton of mindblowing information from “iPhone Photo Magic” – but what I did get was extremely useful. It gave me peace of mind and a process, more than anything else. I think everyone who buys it will get that, and realize they aren’t as bad at taking photos as they think they are.

I used to be very fond of taking portrait photos, but with the introduction of the smartphone my – pretty heavy! – SLR camera ended up in a closet.
And I ended up taking lousy pictures… When meeting Sean, however, I quickly realized that using your iPhone camera and taking bad photos do not necessarily go hand in hand. On the contrary, his pictures are very cool and breath colour and creativity!
So I was keen to learn his iPhone Photo Magic – secrets, yet feeling hesitant to go for it: would I be able to pull it off after reading the book? And would I keep on using my newly acquired skills?
Fortunately, my hesitations were completely unjustified. Within an hour I found myself happily editing my holiday photos, the results of which I sent to my eldest daughter without telling her about my ‘photo-project’.
She replied instantly texting me: “Mum, WOW, what gorgeous photos! Please, tell me, how do you do this?!” Two months later I’m still using the iPhone Photo Magic secrets on a daily basis.
An interesting unexpected spinoff has been that I’m not only working with the tools covered in the book, but that I also find myself adding extra tools to my editing repertoire regularly, as my confidence to try out other functionalities of the Camera+ app definitely has grown.
So, I’m afraid my SLR-camera will stay forever where it is now: in the closet!

I love photography and feel like I never have time to study how to take better photos. I was attracted to the idea of getting better photos with my I phone. Based on what I have seen I thought the product would be interesting and the price made it easy.
I found the video and short PDF to be easy to digest. I studied both in less than an hour and began to use the app and principles immediately.
It was great to learn how to use the filters. I could easily see the impact and have started using the tools immediately.
I was glad to learn about the suggestions to take multiple photos and to vary the perspective. I also appreciate and see how to alleviate distractions.
I have already recommended the product to others who lament that they don’t have time to study photography. You will be able to take better photos right away. I like that I can do so with my phone.
Thanks for offering this valuable course!
My main hesitation was being unsure if the product would be too simple or too complicated. I didn’t want to be intimidated by the material or have it go too deeply into photography lessons. At the same time I wanted to be sure I would get something out of it.
I’ve learned how to make my photos stand out thanks to a better understanding of Camera+. It’s an app I’ve owned for years, but clearly did not know how to make the most of it.
My favorite feature is the simplicity of the lessons included. In one sitting I was able to finish the book, watch the included videos and start editing my own photos.
Outside of the simplicity of the lessons I always enjoy reading any books Sean has written. He has a knack for drawing me into any subject matter.
I would absolutely recommend this to anybody that wants to improve their iPhone photos. Especially anyone that is already using Camera+.
This is a great product. It’s engaging to read and when you’re done you’ll be able to edit any photo you’ve taken in just a few minutes. Since you will probably be taking pictures with your phone for the rest of your life it’s a no brainer to improve this skill.

This was the first product I’ve bought from Psychotactics, besides The Brain Audit which I got through Amazon I believe.
What I liked:
– The app you recommend is pretty cool, and few tips of yours are also useful. I like that there were only few, not too many.
– Not too much of information – just enough to get me going quickly.
– Nicely described, images/picture examples are very useful.
I would recommend this product, because it does what it supposed to do – teaches you to make better photos with iPhone.
Thanks for a nice guide! 🙂

I’m an android user, so this was one of the barriers that made me pause for a little while before buying.
As a result of buying the product—Clearly it’s made my social media photos better. It helped me as one of the sources in a small book I’m writing about using video and image well on social media channels.
It’s also inspired me to look at other apps the one suggested in the book, such as Snapseed.
The specific feature you liked most about “iPhone Photo Magic”—The simple videos that went with it.
Other benefits:
The simplicity of how you told the story
The use of a simple lighting prop to get rid of yellow light
I certainly would recommend this product. It’s a deceptively simple approach to getting the most out of taking photos.
What I like is that it doesn’t pretend to be dictionary of how to take great photos and edit them. Instead it comes across as an expert point of view of how to get to great quality photos and a short space of time, in a really simple way.

I bought the “book” because it was affordable – I had nothing to loose.
I know find that I can’t post a picture without editing it and I have become more confident playing with filters and overlays. And I love how my food pictures look delicious rather than just a documentary of what I had for breakfast.
I seem to be posting pictures more regularly and have people commenting on my good skills. I have already recommended this product to those that have asked how I am so talented.
The Camera+ was already on my iPhone before I bought the “iPhone Photo Magic”, but I didn’t use the app. Camera+ had to many options for me, I didn’t know where to start. The PDF helped me out with that.
Instead of using all the options, Sean gives a clear path for using the most important functionalities to make your photos look great. He lets you take simple steps and within a few minutes you’re able to do it yourself. For me it is the base from with I can (and dare) further discover other options of Camera+.
There are also a few basic, but important tips on the before of a photo which I’m more aware of now and make my photos better looking.
If Camera+ looks intimidating and therefore you don’t use it, then ‘iPhone Photo Magic’ is the place to start. From the moment I read the PDF I put all my photos through the steps and consecutively use some other features of Camera+ too.
Thanks Sean for having me actually use the app and enjoy making ánd improving my photos.
I thought I was weird for a book on taking photos to come from Psychotactics. But the price was almost nothing so I went for it.
And I’m glad I did. It was beautifully packaged.
I was given a small amount of actionable information. Which let me understand better. I now see photography in a different light and it has made the photos I take better.
I’m no professional photographer, but I’m less amateurish. When there are thousands of amateur photos online, one that is less amateurish makes a big difference.

Hi,
I have found the pdf to be of enormous benefit. The writing and illustrates are clear. I had purchased the app previous to your offer and the information in report enabled me to use the app more fully.
If you own an iphone (especially a 7), this information will allow to you take pictures that will WOW (to this, I can personally attest) your friends and family.
Regretfully, the videos I downloaded only included the audio component.
Best regards,
Duncan
I love this product and happily refer others to enjoy it, too. I’m in the “point and shoot” category, so anything that can make technology easier is for me. As usual, Sean’s teaching method made using this app simple which says more than a lot for someone who’s technology challenged at every turn. Many thanks for introducing me to this app and even more for teaching me how to use it, Sean!
Jerry’s text to my daughter, Donise: “Wanted to show you the Jade plant in the greenhouse is really blooming! This has happened only twice since we’ve had this plant!”
Donise: “Wow!! That is just beautiful!!! I had no idea they would do that!! Btw did you take that photo? Because it is excellent.”
Jerry: “Yes, thank you!”
Donise: “How did you get the frame around it? Did you use an editing app?”
Jerry: “Yes…from Camera+.”
Donise: “Good job! It really looks professional. Camille(Granddaughter) said so too!!”
Sean, I’ve taken maybe two dozen pictures since I got your book. The above response to my picture really made my day. My editing took maybe 3 minutes.
I would have included the photo, except clicking on an attachment might have given you pause, so I didn’t send it.
The 5-Minute iPhone Magic eBook has worked wonders for my limited photography skills. Thought you might like to know.
