what I like about 5000bc:
I like that my questions get the attention and answer. I really appreciated the members sharing tips and comments on my post about “getting rid of negative thoughts”.
I also like that people hold you accountable to what you have entered in TAP. (Action Action Forum)

I like that 5000bc is organized. I also like the volume of information available; it’s really amazing.
The cave is cool; and I like reading responses from you and others. It’s a friendly place. Also, it’s cool to interact with people from all over the planet.
I can’t think of anything more I would like to see.

I was hesitant to commit to 500bc due to cost and previous membership group programs I’d belonged to.
The cost (currently ~$25/mo) now almost seems trivial. The sheer amount of content waiting for you the moment you log in is mind boggling. If I knew how much there was waiting for me, the cost wouldn’t have been an issue.
Otherwise, previous membership groups had been lackluster to me. Most centered around facebook groups, and after having neglected facebook for multiple years I loathe using it again.
There’s also the part where you don’t usually have direct contact with the person whose group you’re joining. With any other membership site you’re being asked to lay down your money in trust that the group that has gathered is worth the price.
5000bc isn’t like that. You (Sean) don’t expect other people to generate content and facilitate discussions for you. People do, but that’s because you set a vacation expectation. Otherwise we’re all essentially guaranteed your thoughts and opinion – which in turn generates really thoughtful (helpful or not) discussion. Plus you don’t use facebook 🙂
The community is good, but I also don’t expect them to fulfill my every need. You (Sean) are around way more than I ever expected, and your feedback is invaluable.
Also, there are so many resources that I came up with my own system to save threads, vanishing reports, etc so that I can come back to them when I need them (but new members should know that you even provide a system to do this!)
Also – you get really great NZ chocolate when you join 😉
What specific feature do you like most about this 5000bc?
First – near instant feedback.
Second – I can have a mental freak out and nobody judges.
Third – the chocolate was fun 🙂
I like that you (Sean) and Renuka are both around a lot, and you upgraded the site to work on a phone!
Would you recommend 5000bc? If so, why?
Yes. The deluge of information is wonderful. You’ve written whole books that it seems like nobody knows about unless you’re in 5000bc.
I don’t know exactly what path to take on my business and self-improvement journey – but I know when I have questions, you’ve probably either already written about it or if you haven’t then you will.

I started my own online business in 2005, and have done really well. Errrr… except for the part that I paid an obscene amount of money for high end mastermind and coaching programs. Now all I have to show for it is a hole in my pocket.
When I came across Sean’s Psychotactics site, I was extremely gun shy. Since the price of 5000bc was a fraction of what I’d already lost in other programs, and I was really wanting some help in building my new business, I decided to give it a try.
Much to my surprise, Sean personally responded to my posts, and gave me extremely useful tips and advice. The articles in the forum, and support from others is amazing.
I’ve now taken several of his courses, and I’ve learned far more in the past few months than I got out of all those expensive programs over several years. If you’re looking to get real skills, and not just more empty promises, check out Sean’s programs.

I wasn’t that sure at first about signing up to 5000BC because I have been part of some free forums and they were all full of people trying to make themselves sound high and mighty and little learning and growing of skills was done. I thought 5000BC might be the same.
How massively wrong I was!
The biggest benefit for me has been the reassurance from Sean and other members of the site about key questions that I had.
Because setting up something on your own can be lonely, and you’re never sure whether you’re doing it right. And of course the more answers you get to your questions, the more confident that you feel, and the more you want to help others with their questions.
It’s all about reassurance (for me).
I think without Sean’s presence on the forum, this feeling of reassurance would not be possible.
I think to get this sort of access to such an experienced mind for the annual cost of 5000BC, is invaluable. I keep recommending it to other friends who have businesses and tell them that it will just make their life so much easier.
What also makes 5000 BC special is how much Sean gives back to the community, not just through replying to posts but also the quantity of information that he shares: vanishing reports, draft articles within the forum (that might get turned into vanishing reports or podcasts), the oodles of info in the library, the audio files.
Like all of Sean’s work, once you’ve made the initial effort to read a report or buy one of his books, or sign up to 5000bc, you’re in.
You’re caught in that tractor beam of great marketing insight that never seems to stop. Sean is one of the very best minds around – and having worked in the advertising industry and read a lot over a number of years that takes a lot for me to say.
So, I would say to anyone hesitating about 5000BC. Don’t. Go for it.
Get caught in that tractor beam. It gives you the reassuring answers that you’ll need.

At first, I felt a little overwhelmed about the wealth of information on the forum, and I wasn’t quite sure how I was going to use it best. But once I got up to speed on the Cave by listening to your audio introduction series, it became a lot less daunting.
And now that I have introduced myself, and started up my action plan… I feel that I have a clear direction for using 5000bc for growth and productivity.
I really like the accountability aspect of the “taking action” forum. I can see this being huge benefit for me and I enjoy the communication with the other members. I think this will help me get the most out of the article writing class I took, and help inspire me to “use it” so I don’t “lose it”!
The critique lounge is AMAZING. What an opportunity to get advise from a brilliant group, I am excited to utilize this valuable tool in the future.
I also love how active you are on the forum, it’s really great to have that personal touch and your invaluable insight at my fingertips. I don’t know how you make time for it all, but I’m super grateful!

As someone who is a lifelong learner (a.k.a knowledge junkie) I have invested in a lot of online courses over the years. Usually the courses always come with a promise of a thriving online community group to enhance your learning long after the course if finished. This always sounds like great benefit, but in fact it is almost always a problem. What no one tells you, is that the instructor is either not part of the community or is seldom seen.
Therefore, you end up being part of a group asking a whole bunch of questions, with no one capable or willing to spend time providing answers. More often than not, it becomes a gigantic waste of time.
Was 5000bc just like all the other membership sites on the net? That was the questions I wrestled with, when I was considering joining 5000bc.
I am so pleased to report that 5000bc is not like other membership websites at all.
For starters, Sean is always there. Yes, always – he says he has three months off a year but I haven’t noticed him being gone once! Maybe it’s because the members of this community all get involved and help one another so much. Usually, membership sites are usually full of people pushing their own agenda. The 5000bc members really do look out for one another.
There is a common understanding and commitment to the idea that we are all there to help one another. It is wonderful to be a part of a group like that.
I like:
The forum itself. It is set up in such a way that it is so easy to use.
There is a ton of information available on the site. And it could be so easy to get overwhelmed by it all, just like you tend to do when you walk into a huge public library. But that never happens on 5000bc. You never feel overwhelmed, or lost. There is always someone only too willing to help point you in the right direction.
The same goes for posting questions. Again, the forum is dead easy to use and it’s really simple to start new conversations or to join existing ones.
I also like:
1) Even though the topic of marketing is so broad, the answers to your questions are never text book answers. Everything is presented in a way that is relevant to your specific situation.
2) It changes the way you do things and the way you think. The advice and support you receive in 5000bc is so practical and effective that you can’t help but use it!
3) It saves you truckloads of time. Sure you can save money by researching the free information on the web, but that is so inefficient. Once you see the insights, speed and quality of support offered in 5000bc, you’ll never want to do that again.
I would recommend 5000bc—Because 5000bc is not just a place to consume information. It is a place to exchange ideas.
Most membership sites have charter for members that talks about being respectful of one another, and lists all the rules about what can and can’t be done on the site. (And of course, no one pays any attention to these).
5000BC has none of those things.
Instead we have three simple rules; Be helpful, be kind or be gone. And I am pleased to say – everyone is.
At the moment, I spend a great deal of my time working alone and I don’t have a huge network.
5000bc for me is all about sharing ideas and getting feedback to make my business more successful. And provide opportunity to help do the same for other members)
To be able to explore my challenges with you and others in a trusting, caring and positive environment like 5000bc has meant a great deal to me personally.
5000bc is doing a lot more than just helping me with my business. It is actually changing the way I think and how I process the world around me. The lessons and ideas I have found in 5000bc (and across the whole Psychotactics universe), are helping me grow as a person nearly every day.
And for a marketing membership site, that is pretty cool indeed! 😉
Thanks Sean (and to Renuka too).
It is all very much appreciated.

I have spent thousands of dollars trying to get things right. I am very skeptical of any claims. I couldn’t actually see what I was buying but Sean was recommended and I was intrigued by the $10 charge to just get on the wait list. I actually turned down the opportunity the first time it was offered but decided I needed to try one more time and compared to what I spent previously, this was a bargain.
5000 bc can be over whelming. It is stuffed with actionable information. A treasure chest!
I like that I can use it all unrestricted. Vanishing reports are amazing on their own.
I wish I had started here. Sean recently gave the written and audio files for a workshop he did in 2004. 12 years old and the best stuff I have ever heard. 5000 bc is full of info that is freely shared. If you have a business and want to refine it so you can take it to the next level, or want to start, this is the place. I would be so much further ahead if my money had been invested here from the start.
After joining 5000 bc, I received New Zealand chocolate from Ranuka and Sean. Sean emailed me personally twice. I haven’t spent $500 with him yet. I have spent $6k with a coach and close to $5K with another organization. The first was entirely worthless the second was OK but has thousands of students and no one to one contact.
I will never ever hear personally from the founder, I am way too small a fish and way outside the demographic they target. Sean is a brilliant guy, he knows how to teach you what to do. His podcast line about learning to love what you do and take 3 months off a year is a true possibility.
He doesn’t talk about the millions you are going to make, he talks about hard work that takes you from point to point and then get some rest. I grew up farming, then had a brief military career and have worked in the medical field many years. I know a lot about hard work and long hours but nothing about any real time off.

I really never had an obstacle. I’d finished reading Brain Audit for the third time. And I read some of your stuff on the website and decided that I would put myself on the wait list for 5000bc. The next day (before I posted to the list) I received an email from Sean inviting me to join 5000bc. Easy as that; I joined that day.
As a result of joining—I found answers to questions I hadn’t realized that I had. There is a rich resource of answers to my questions, new information from Sean regularly and the feeling of certainty that if I need help I can get it. I haven’t tapped the stuff available and am still finding my way but am quite thrilled to be here.
What I like most about 5000bc
I like the engagement with Sean and Renuka. I find that I’m starting to question some of the other people I work with in light of things I read on 5000bc. My new business I’m trying to create is benefiting from this.
3 Things I like about 5000bc.
Feeling of safety to ask elementary questions and not get flamed. If you’ve ever been in a software forum asking for help and been flamed you know what I’m talking about.
The answers I get are well thought out and actually put me on the spot which I feel I need. I’m excited by the community but haven’t gotten involved enough yet to benefit from it.
Right now I’m quite excited about the Brain Alchemy course which I am working through. Pretty neat.
I would recommend it because it is a resource that is always there for me. I feel that it is very rich. If I follow Sean’s recommendations I get more from things; such as 15 minutes a day on the site (which I have not been doing as of late because of traveling and other things).
I am very grateful for being here. I like the format and I believe that I will grow as a business owner because of you.

I had no hesitation in joining 5000bc. It was affordably priced for a year. Sweet spot!
5000bc is a place for entrepreneurs to gather, study and take action.
I like every aspect of 5000bc because no questions are labelled silly and there are only constructive criticisms instead of name callings and what not.
I would recommend 5000bc because it has tons of information any serious business owners could learn.
Jerome Syed
I wanted to be sure I would use 5000bc before I joined. I hesitated because I’ve joined plenty of forums before and not really participated. After buying a couple of Sean’s homestudy courses and reading enough on the psychotactics website, I took the plunge and signed up.
And I’m so glad I did. Yes it was a little overwhelming at first, but then all these nice, friendly people started to say hello. And I really started to learn.
I love the step-by-tiny-step “mini-course” working in a small, friendly group. I’m becoming disciplined and, I think getting better.
It’s wonderful to share with a friendly group like this. Everyone is there to join in and support me. Wow, yeah, me! A community of people all looking to pay it forward and learn and help each other. And there’s just so much to learn form everyone!
On a personal level, I want to get this working in my own business. I’ve long been an advocate and user of online learning and communities. I’ve struggled to get people to participate – plenty of folk will follow and watch, but few, far too few, will actively participate. As I put more deliberate barriers to joining my coaching and courses the people joining are the right “sort” for me. It’s slow but that’s OK. I’ve learned to not wait until I’ve got it perfect.
Thanks Sean.
Blessings from Singapore.

It Took Me A While To Really “Get” 5000BC
I’ve been a member of 5000BC for about eight months now.
I got there by a roundabout route (as most of us do), signing up to the Psychotactics newsletter, and nibbling at a few of the Psychotactics e-books before signing up for the Da Vinci cartooning course. After about six months of Da Vinci cartooning (a wonderful transformative journey), I was ready to take a closer look at 5000BC.
I joined more out of curiosity and a vague sort of feeling that I wanted to belong, than for any specific benefit.
It wasn’t too expensive, and I liked the sense of community and the process with the Da Vinci course and Sean’s approach in general. I wanted more of that. But it was really with a “let’s have a look & see what’s there” attitude.
I don’t have a marketing business or a business that need marketing, or any burning questions about marketing, so it took me a while to “get” 5000BC.
I read the no-frills version of Sean’s flagship work “The Brain Audit” as a prerequisite and it seemed kind of cool, but not something directly relevant to me right then.
Besides, I’m not really a forum sort of person… .
What I found in the beginning.
In the beginning 5000BC was a bit daunting. There is a lot of material there, though like any forum it takes some digging to discover the gems. And the core members – some of them members for years – have between them an amazing amount of knowledge and expertise, which is a great resource to have available. Though it can also add to the intimidation factor.
The gold.
But as I kept on dipping my toes in the water at 5000BC, following up the bits that resonated with me, I suddenly saw it.
Psychotactics is about Sean offering himself and his business as a model for you. And 5000BC is the heart of Psychotactics. It’s where everyone who wants this, hangs out.
It’s not that Sean is any sort of guru or master, self-proclaimed or otherwise. But he practices mastery, and that is something much more intriguing. Sean is a master of mastery, if you like. And it’s something that you can have, too.
Help, information, support
If you approach 5000BC as a source of information, well, you will get lots of that, in-depth and top quality too. Sean regularly posts stuff that he later goes on to develop into paid information products, on all sorts of topics. It includes information about setting up a business and marketing it, as well as all the bits and pieces that go into it: putting a website together, writing your sales page, developing your business strategy. But it doesn’t stop there… the most recent “Vanishing Report” was on how to take better photos with your iPhone. (Sean reduced it down to 3 simple, effective tweaks – complete with illustrations, of course.)
I’d say it’s worth joining, just for the information. But there is more…
I’ve learned a lot from the discussions on 5000BC. People ask questions, about their business and all sorts of other things, and I’ve found I can often learn more from these discussions than from a finished instructional report. That’s because you get the full process, not just the finished result. And for me, that’s a much better way to learn & understand something.
There is also a huge amount of guidance and support, from Sean and others, for specific issues you might have about your business and other things as well. If you have questions or want some feedback or support, it’s all available.
Learning through modelling
However, the part that has been most value for me has been the way Sean offers himself up as a model to copy (or modify with your own tweaks). This applies to 5000BC and also to all of the Psychotactics courses (which you will have inside access to, as a 5000BC member). So here are some of the things you can learn if you approach 5000BC in this way:
How to learn something. I first discovered this in the Da Vinci cartooning course, and then when I joined 5000BC I found it everywhere, in a whole lot of different contexts. So in Da Vinci, not only did I learn how to cartoon and draw, but even more valuable, I learned how to see and evaluate what needs improving, and how to keep doing it once the course finishes. In 5000BC I’ve learned how these same principles work for other things. This is not something you can learn from a book. I learned it from watching how Sean does it for himself, and following his tips and comments on his own process of learning.
How to teach something. Again, this is something I started to learn from going through the Da Vinci cartooning process, where the method of teaching is the key to the whole course: daily practice, small increments, make lots of mistakes. But it’s the key to Sean’s entire approach to everything, and you will pick up the elements of this in 5000BC if you want to explore it. There are loads of mini lessons, on all sorts of topics. Sean is a superb teacher – and if you want you can model him and get some of this for yourself: some great ideas about how to teach just about anything.
How to manage your time and energy productively. Sean talks a lot about this, and again, it is mostly stuff he shares about his own process, and what works for him. You might not want to be even half as productive as Sean – his output is truly amazing – but being more efficient has advantages in just about anything you do. And you might find that other strategies work better for you. But you’ll get a lot of ideas about not only specific strategies, but the process as well.
How to stay in integrity in your marketing & your business. Integrity has a lot of connotations and they all fit. It includes the meaning of “ethical”, and going a bit deeper, it is related to the word “integrated” which is a good thing to be too. If you want to be ethical as well as successful in your business, you will absorb a lot of this (practical stuff, not just philopsophy). And if you want to be more integrated in your business, more yourself – which equates to more relaxed, more productive, generally happier – then you can pick this up from Sean & 5000 BC too.
How to use mistakes and feedback to improve your business (or your skill or implementation of anything at all). One of the fascinating things about Sean is that he is completely transparent about everything he does, and shares his mistakes – and how he is working on them. If you do a paid course then you will be
actively encouraged to make mistakes and learn from them. In 5000BC it’s implicit, since your level of participation is up to you. It’s a principle that underpins 5000BC and everything in Psychotactics. Sean leads by example… he talks about the things he has done right, and the things he has done wrong, and how he has corrected as he gone along. And it’s an ongoing process – I can guarantee that right now (or at some point today – depending on your time zone) Sean is working on improving something, whether it is a piece of writing, a cartoon, a course, or something else. And because he freely shares his own process, you become more confident about experimenting, making mistakes yourself and learning from them. It’s a simple principle but don’t be fooled – most of us need to be reminded over & over again. Once you get that, the sky is truly the limit… you will discover you can fly!
You don’t have to join 5000BC to learn all of these things – maybe you can get them somewhere else. But they are hard to find, and harder to maintain for yourself.
In business and especially in marketing, I found I was surrounded by people whose core belief and goal is to make more money with less work. Expertise is packaged as an instant commodity, available on purchase of some e-book or video course. It’s hard to resist the lure of this mindset when you are exposed to it so continuously!
Integrity is powerful stuff, and it sends a clear note out into the world. 5000BC is a community of people who have resonated to this note, and they make it easier to choose integrity for yourself.
I’ve found a lot of value in all of these different aspects of 5000BC. And I haven’t anywhere near explored all of it yet. The gold for me, however, is in being exposed to the practice of mastery and learning how to apply it for myself.
It was hard for me to put in words why I was attracted to 5000BC or what I wanted from it, until I started to understand this. The benefits people talked about didn’t really explain it, for me. But once I realised that there is a ton of deeper stuff that I really, really want, then it all made sense.
So if this resonates with you, give it a go. There is a lot of stuff on offer: great marketing and business information, community support, personal advice.
And the opportunity to learn about and practice mastery in all sorts of different ways.

I almost didn’t join 5000bc because I thought that I was too busy to participate and I wouldn’t be able to get a lot out of it.
The time spent in 5000bc is worth so much more than my annual fee. The learning is very concentrated and targeted, so I’m able to apply what I’ve learned immediately in my business.
I love the comprehensive vanishing reports, which could easily be sold as standalone products. There are tons of these in 5000bc and I love browsing through them to find answers to a current problem that I’m having.
5000bc members are very responsive and helpful. Sean is always around and answering questions. The level of expertise is very high amongst the members.
I would strongly recommend 5000bc to anyone interested in taking their online business to the next level.

As a result of joining 5000bc, I learned that—There’s a huge amount to learn – more than I could have imagined. But it’s so well presented that it’s a joy to read – and easy to learn from. Still needs a lot of work from my good self but now I have a path – and guidance…
I also like that it’s not in the least intimidating.
Three other benefits about 5000bc— Easy to access; lots to learn – in a good way; no question seems to be too silly:-)
I would recommend 5000bc – without hesitation. The information is waaaaaaay better than any other I’ve found – and I’ve found a LOT over the years. Sean has a real knack of making things seem do-able.
For the amount and quality of information, it’s amazing value for money.
Marian Dyer
My concern about joining was around whether there would be enough value. The second concern was whether I would be accepted or not.
Hearing of a relatively small number of members, and by design at that, had me thinking maybe I wouldn’t fit in.
That was not the case at all. In actual fact I was absolutely delighted with the diverse community of helpful souls all on a mission. Everyone seems committed to both personal development and towards helping one another in a non-judgemental way.
There is honesty but there is care and respect. As a result I haven’t seen any defensiveness when there are some gentle nudges or candid feedback. The veil of mutual concern deflects ego!
The content and various discussions are all very interesting and informative. I have learned so much in the couple of months I have been here.
The onboarding course Sean set up for us was a terrific way to become familiar with the site and get to know some of the members. The marketing concepts are repeated by the members as well as by Sean. It has already changed the way I read things and look at layouts.
What I wasn’t expecting was such a fun group!
Being on the site is energizing and I feel that I am welcomed. I would recommend 5000bc to anyone who was committed to learning AND participating. This is not a one way flow of information. Without the willingness to share and participate no one really benefits.
I am very happy to be on the site and am finding that it is helping me to layer out distractions, focus and do the things that I would rather avoid. In some ways I am reconnecting with a part of myself that I thought I had lost over a few tumultuous years.
On a personal level I am hoping to continue to develop into a caring, successful business person who still has time to play. There are no shortage of role models on 5000bc!
Cheers!

My biggest hesitation in joining 5000bc was trusting it’d really be a safe place to make mistakes, while still getting support. Your Be helpful, Be kind, or Begone messaging really helped with.
I found that my membership has already paid for itself 4-5x over already. What blows my mind is Sean’s interaction and support. He took me through finding the uniqueness of a new venture he could of easily charged me $650 (his hourly consulting fee for). But he didn’t, just gave guidance and allowed others to learn from my experience.
The one thing I like most is no-BS feedback from people. The people really want to help you succeed and they receive your feedback with gratitude. It’s really beautiful.
3 other benefits would be
1. Vanishing reports
2. Audio interviews
3. Seeing the “behind the scenes” of Sean’s products and sales pages
I would definitely recommend 5000bc. Why? Because it’s perfect support for any question you can have about marketing you are working on implementing.

5000bc was one of the smartest investments I’ve made, and its certainly not just like the others.
The specific feature I liked most was the Vanishing reports.
One of the benefits about 5000bc? Community, and Sean being active in said community
I would recommend 5000bc, because it is a wealth of information
Mike Saul
About joining 5000bc—I remember the hesitation indeed! I thought it was another forum like thousands out there setup by guru and where you have all newbies looking for answers and nobody able to answer. This is the main reason why I wasn’t sure.
Once I joined I found a very nice community of people ready to help and a quite frequent interaction with Sean. This is when I realised that my money wasn’t wasted.
What I like most about 5000bc— I like the people who use the forum most and how different point of views help to tweak your own business.
I also like the
1. The vanishing reports
2. the fact that I can deal with people all over the world that have different approaches and ideas.
3.Special offers for future products before they go live to the public.
I would definitely recommend 5000bc as it let me understand that you don’t need to read every book about the subject you like…just the best one! In other words instead of wasting time in 5/10 free forums, once you have the right one that’s all you need.

I wasn’t sure whether it would be worth joining 5000bc. That’s because I didn’t really know what it contained or was about.
I eventually checked it out further because it had more depth and uniqueness than other sources marketing knowledge, and soon decided it was a good thing.
What I found was that5000bc—is a great pool of resources. Also by being a 5000bc member many special offers are available on products. And you can get first preference for all courses like the Writing Course. It is more personal than I expected, and very supportive. I think there are some great articles (egg. the Vanishing Articles) and wonderful products on offer.
Three benefits about 5000bc:
a) The forums–a great source of general business and marketing knowledge
b) Knowing that if you had a business or technical marketing question you’d get at a minimum a few instant quality answers, if not a flood
c) Sean’s ubiquitous and tireless presence.
I would recommend 5000bc—because it actually isn’t that expensive for the wealth of information and source of mentoring & assistance that it is.
There is a great deal of material in 5000bc and all of Sean’s other products and ventures. A lot of it is common sense, stuff I instinctively or intuitively know anyway. But a lot of other stuff I hadn’t cottoned on to. Regardless, Sean packages it all in to very digestible topics/products/forums …whatever the form he makes the contents instantly useable. The fact that it is all covered systematically gives it even greater value than the individual components have on their own.

I thought 5000bc was going to be super expensive. Some trainings can be thousands of dollars for just a few weeks. I was pleasantly surprised how affordable a year of 5000bc was.
I am in action! And it’s the kind of action that I know is building a strong foundation for my business. I really resonated with the Brain Audit. However, there were so many things to implement, I kind of got stuck. Now, I’m taking action. And the people who are giving advice and feedback have the same foundation in what works in a non-salesy kind of way.
What I liked about 5000bc was if I had a question, Sean wrote three articles answering my question. That blew me away. In addition to the answer, I know I can learn from Sean how to be really productive! That kind of feedback doesn’t happen with all questions, of coarse. though the community is active and great at helping each other.
Three other benefits about 5000bc
1) Get questions answered from a common framework in a timely manner.
2) Great people – just like me!
3) Opportunity to take action with a group behind you cheering you on!!!
Internet marketing can be lonely. There’s lots of guru’s telling you to do this or do that – you can become quickly overwhelmed or burned out or just not in action because it doesn’t feel authentic. 5000bc is a group of like minded people who are taking action and building their businesses and cheering each other on. And using a process to do it.

It’s can be very difficult to know a thing until you do a thing. I didn’t know if 5000bc was going to be worth the time and cost for me until I tried it. Once I signed up for it and gave it a try, I found that it was better, more useful, and more fun than I ever expected.
I always like the free vanishing reports, but the thing I like the most about 5000bc is getting helpful and specific feedback and recommendations from the other members. Essentially, they are your large and diverse team of experts who will help you with any business issue! And everyone is very nice too. No haters!
In addition to marketing insight, 5000bc members also provide technical assistance, system and software recommendations, and opportunities to stretch my brain while learning new things. So many new things…and learning new things is a benefit for me in itself.
I would recommend 5000bc to anyone looking to expand their business.
1) What was the obstacle in your mind that would have prevented
you from buying into 5000bc? Do you remember your hesitation?
I wasn’t sure if I would utilize the service. I wasn’t sure if I would be willing to post questions and/or ask for help.
2) What did you find as a result of joining 5000bc?
While I haven’t posted much yet- I’ve been able to learn from others and also see others struggling with similar issues.
Seeing other small business owners in various parts of their journey is encouraging.
3) What specific feature do you like most about this 5000bc?
I like the articles. I’m a reader. I like that there is plenty of useful information and that it revolves around a specific system. I’m still reading and reviewing the Brain Audit. I’m getting a better sense of the material and am slowly getting ready to start applying it.
4) What would be three other benefits about 5000bc?
Seeing other small business owners take action provides a model for growth. Seeing the articles about the growth of 5000BC and Psychotactics over the years is encouraging.
The ability to ask questions is very useful. I also like the ability to see how others have tackled particular issues.
The community sense also helps.
5) Would you recommend 5000bc? If so, why?
It depends on the person. For some I would and some not. For those that are looking for a system and an approach and are open to trying new things – I would. For those looking for a single answer to a single problem most likely not. They wouldn’t be open to applying the information.
6) Is there any thing you’d like to add?
Not at the moment.
And one more question:
7) What is it that you want most from 5000bc on a personal level?
Perhaps to get to know other small business owners a bit more. I think we all look outside for either validation of our approach to things to find the missing pieces of the puzzle.
I’m looking for a more structured approach to facing my challenges. I tend to throw my time into things and analyze after. I want to be able to analyze more but still take steps forward. I find I often will either take action or analyze and never take action. I want to find the middle road.
I’m looking to see how I can develop my knowledge and skills in a way that allows me to offer products and information based on my experience. Right now I’m limited to direct service. I want to learn how to create a system and to leverage it.
“Usually I don’t find membership sites valuable. The forums are filled with people who can’t really help me, and the founders are no where to be seen, so I don’t get any help.”
Sometimes the content will be good, but I’m at a stage now where I don’t necessarily need more content, and if I do, I need more specific training courses/programs.
What attracted me to 5000bc—It came down to one thing: access to Sean. I still remember reading the one sentence on the sales page where Sean said “You can ask as many questions as you like, which would be equal to $60,000 in consulting” or something along those lines.
5000bc is different—For one, Sean actually talks to people and the members are having fun. In other forums/memberships often just the members are in there sharing and talking, and they might not know what they are talking about or what advice they’re giving.

“5000bc is one of the few sites I’ve been a member at that has such little drama. No huge fights. No negativity. Everyone tries their best to be helpful.”
I’ve been a member of a lot of membership sites over the years. Some charged $5 a month. Some charged $100 a month. Some were big and crowded and scary. Some had just a handful of members. Some were strictly moderated. Some were overtaken by self promotion by members.
But there is only one membership site I’ve stuck with year after year since over 8 years. And that is 5000bc.
Initially, I was attracted to 5000bc because of Sean. I’d read all his articles. Bought the Brain Audit. Bought a training course. And my life had improved significantly because of Sean. So gaining more access to him and his wisdom was a no brainer for me.
But unlike most membership sites 5000bc is not completely centered around Sean.
There is activity there even when Sean goes for month long vacations. 5000bc has done quite a few things to make it a vibrating community.
Some really smart systems have been put in place that has kept the tempo up year after year.
1. The focus on safety. Its quite overwhelming for new members to join an already bustling community. But new members in 5000bc are given guided tours. Everyone introduces themselves. And every member has a photo – which makes a big difference in a virtual world.
2. Action oriented. With subforums like Tacking Action and Masterminds, a lot of focus is put on implementing things. You can always find other members to cheer you on or help provide a support system for you.
3. No drama. 5000bc is one of the few sites I’ve been a member at that has such little drama. No huge fights. No negativity. Everyone tries their best to be helpful. That’s a good mixture of culture, not letting anyone become a member, creating a safe environment and having good moderators on board – that is hard to replicate.

The obstacle in your mind that would have prevented
me from buying into 5000bc, was that I was not sure if I would fit in or be brave enough to put myself out there to ask questions amongst a bunch of professionals I respect. Not sure if I would fully be able to use it based on my time restraints.
I found a bunch of very friendly and non-judgmental people willing to help out and share information with each other in a great way. Very welcoming feeling and even though I still sometimes think that what I’m asking is a no-brainer for other people, the atmosphere is such that I’m still willing to put my question out there.
I have really only used the Cave so far. I want to get into reading articles but haven’t yet done so. I love that you put your 2 cents into every conversation to some degree. I love that I can keep asking questions with no limit.
Three other benefits about 5000bc:
Awesome business community. Light-heartedness. A wealth of information.
I would definitely recommend 5000bc. As a business owner, it is necessary to have help from others. 5000bc is a great way to get information that business owners need very quickly and one-on-one help with issues one may be struggling with.
Prior to joining 5000bc I was not sure what to expect but I had been impressed with Sean’s insights about marketing, sales and how to write.
Most people provide general comments such as “relate better to your customers”. Such broad suggestions are useful but I find too general to know what to do.
Sean is different. He breaks it down more into specifics, and then I get a better insight into the action steps and know better what, specifically, to do. I felt that would occur even more if I were to join 5000bc and it has.
It had definitely influenced how I market and write and done so on several occasions. It is hard to find other sources whether on the web or even in person about which I can say that. Sean has definitely changed what I do.

It has been two months since I joined 5000bc.com and I wish I had done it sooner. My biggest hesitation was that it was a message board and a membership site and I never felt that I could learn in that kind of environment. The other reason I took so long to join was that I did not feel that I had the time to devote to learning more. I already had so many other books, ebooks, white papers to read so where am I going to come up with time to read more. And what is the sense in joining something if you won’t have the time to read or implement what is being taught.
Then Sean had one of those “Join now and you don’t have to be on the 45 day waiting list”. Having read the Brain Audit, I was already sold on the idea that his methods work and after having read all the free articles on psychotactics, I was ready to give 5000bc a shot.
When I joined, I was initially overwhelmed by all the stuff going on in “the cave”. The instructions when you join are that you should take it slow initially and just read for while. I was encouraged to ask as many questions as I want and the answers you get are not one or two sentence answers. They are, in many cases, full scale articles that answer your question thoroughly.
One of the best features I like about 5000bc.com is the threads where Sean will take someones business and show them how to apply the brain audit to it. Its great to read the book, but to see him apply the teachings to a live business or person on the website is where I have learned the most.
Plus, I got to see all the vanishing reports (Which alone is worth the price of admission, by the way), and was part of the uniqueness course (again, this alone is worth the price of admission).
Another great feature is all the helpful people on this very very active board. 5000bc.com has become an addiction of sorts and I have to limit my time there everyday.
For anyone out there that is hesitant to join, don’t be. I would highly recommend this site. As I said before, i wish I had joined earlier.
I was pretty hesitant at joining because of the yearly, rather than monthly fee. At the time I was paying monthly for another marketing/copywriting forum, but not getting that much from it. When I worked out that 5000bc was much less per month it made it easier to switch.
I remember the first thing that I did was to download the vanishing report on the “about us” page. As soon I started reading I knew that the information was special… really special. I was excited and compelled to put the information to use. The people in the forum are super friendly and always willing to help out with their time and also give quality information.
I find the critique forums the most useful at the moment.
I would recommend 5000bc in a heartbeat. The quality of the information that is freely given is worth a ton more that the cost of membership.
I submitted a sign up page a while ago and feel that the information I got back was worth more that the price of the year’s membership – much more.

When I first got the offer to join 5000BC I was not sure what to think. I am not part of any other forums and I was not sure I had time or a use for one. The price seemed reasonable and I liked the Brain Audit, so I took a chance. (I guess I was feeling adventurous that day).
After two months of being on the forum and over 100 posts (by me) I am very happy to be part of the forum. I read the Brain Audit twice and listened to the audio of it once, but putting it into practice is a bit harder. I kept having questions about little details of how it really should look in my business. I don’t have a yoga shop, or any of the other examples in the book and certain things were just not clear to me as to how it fit MY business. I was able to post questions on the forum and Sean or other members would help me figure stuff out step by step. Without that support I would never have gotten so far implementing all of the great concepts in the book. I was directed to other threads of people who had struggled with various aspects of the concepts and could learn from their processes of understanding different “bags” of the Brain Audit.
5000BC is a fantastic resource!
5000bc and the Cave gave me momentum for my business.
It’s so hard to narrow down to just one specific feature I like most about 5000bc. But I think it’s the cave itself, where you can ask a question that pops up while you’re reading an article or working on your uniqueness. The question(s) gets answered, not just from you Sean, but also from the other members. You’ll be getting some new insights you probably haven’t thought of.
The other three benefits are the vanishing reports where you’ll answered the forums biggest question in depth. And then you have the take action forum – I’ve seen that the action forum gets results for you. Soon I’ll try it out. And the 3rd and last is the Library with articles that also go into more depth.
I’ve already recommend 5000bc to someone on the bases that you get out at least 3 times the value of the price Sean charges. You’ll get mini course, answers to your problems with articles direct from Sean. You just have to join to experience yourself.
The one thing I want to add is that it gives you momentum with your business. But that’s only if you implement the things you learn in the 5000bc and the Cave. But we are there to help you out.
Warm regards,
Marius W
Psychotactics.com had already proven itself to me to be a site that offered tremendous value for the money, but I wished that the membership had had the option of a monthly plan, for trial purposes. Having already done business with Psychotactics.com, though I was sure that the guarantee was good, so I jumped in (I have never had to ask for a refund from Sean because his products all over-deliver his claims).
First, as I read the site I discovered that it was a great value for the money. I was apprehensive about posting because I was smothering with tasks, as I was/am just beginning to put my business together. Shortly, I dove in, hoping not to get berated for posting in the wrong place ( I was unsure about where to put my question), or some other small mistake that I may have made, as has happened to me on other forums in the past.
When I did post, it was in the wrong place, so a moderator kindly moved it to the best place and very kindly explained to me why. There was no roughness at all. That contact with the moderator and with the other folks I have interacted with on 5000bc have made me to feel really at ease, as if I were at home, chatting with friends and acquaintances about business in my living room. I found that it’s a great place to be.
What I like most about 5000bc is the fact that I can ask all the questions I want/need to, and that the answers are all reasonable and directed towards reputable business dealings.
The other benefits about 5000bc—Meeting the people who hang out there, the open exchange of vital information and the guidance that is available from Sean.
I would recommend, because it is oriented to fair and square business dealings, vital information flows freely and it gives access to good people with good minds for business.
Like all of Psychtactics products, 5000bc is a great value because it lives up to the claims advertised.

1) What was the obstacle in your mind that would have prevented
you from buying into 5000bc? Do you remember your hesitation?
I had a number of obstacles to joining 5000 bc actually. One, my husband and I are just starting an internet based business. Two, I thought perhaps I didn’t have enough business acumen, others on 5000bc would have years of experience, and I would feel like a fish out of water. Three, price was a consideration, but I have always loved marketing….plus there was a boat load of bonus material.
2) What did you find as a result of joining 5000bc?
I found 5000bc to be way more than I expected. There is an astounding amount of information. It’s incredible really and I’m just talking about the articles, the forum is another story!
3) What specific feature do you like most about this 5000bc?
I’d have to say I enjoy the forum. It’s eye opening to see how others manage business, personal goals, and just life.
4) What would be three other benefits about 5000bc?
1.) Folks from all over the globe are here and you can get a sense of what the world is truly like. it’s real.
2.) It’s not all about marketing a business. It’s also about achieving on a personal level.
3.) The call to action area really does make you accountable, something I’ve never experienced online before.
5) Would you recommend 5000bc? If so, why?
I would surely recommend 5000bc because a wealth of information exists here, hands down, and people care here.
6) Is there any thing you’d like to add?
This is the most unique business I have ever encountered. The care and concern, honesty and genuine way this business is run is truly a breath of fresh air. I am constantly amazed!
7) What is it that you want most from 5000bc on a personal level?
Not sure about gaining something on a personal level yet…but, I’d like to be able to run our business the way 5000bc is run…a business that truly cares about people, that it’s not all about making money, that puts a smile on someone’s face because it’s run differently…it’s called goodwill.

“I don’t care much about reading sales pages, what I care about are results.”
Why did I come to 5000bc? Because someone in another community I am part of told me of the free masterclass course. I went through it all, liked it and I found the investment of $250 ridiculously inexpensive for 5000bc.
I didn’t read much on your sales pages. I don’t care much about reading sales pages, what I care about are results.
Brain Audit gave me results measurable in cold cash. The Vanishing reports in 5000bc did the same. The uniqueness course (conducted in 5000bc)—again the same precise results.
I went ahead and bought other products like the ‘Black Belt Presentations’ and that series allowed me to make a presentation that rocked.
So, you have me sold. Anything with a bigger than 5-1 ROI makes me listen.
You do solid work and I see results. I am an achiever, and I want those results.
What you do is a kind of role model for some things I do, and I want to do something similar for my coaching community.
P.S. I like your cartoons too!

“I was not certain whether I would get enough value to justify the price of membership. Regardless of how much useful information is available, if I didn’t make the time to use the resource, it would not be worthwhile for me.”
I was initially overwhelmed by both the depth and scope of the information available. The articles and archives are a fantastic resource, but the activity on the board was an unexpected benefit.
The three biggest benefits
a. The level of professionalism and respect exhibited by the active members in the forums is rare. Opinions may differ but egos do not seem to get in the way. It allows refreshing and productive dialogues, without the baggage that is usually associated with a business forum.
b. There is a genuine interest in helping others solve the problems they post, or openly critique when requested.
c. The TAP is one of the simplest and most productive ideas I’ve seen or used in quite some time.
If you’re ready to take a look at what you’re doing with an eye towards improvement in a focused direction, 5000bc is an ideal step. There is a wealth of information, but the day to day value comes from active participation in the forums. Like so much in life, you’ll get out of it as much as you put in.
The one thing that prevented me from buying long before I did was time. I study too much and knew that there would be even more to study within “The Cave”.
Once I joined I was right there is avast amount of imformation, for me it is like a child being left alone in a sweet shop. As yet I have gorged myself, I ‘ve rationed my visits.
Fortunately for me it is clearly laid out, so I have been able to go or find the things that have been my most immediate issue and not get to distracted.
I was surprised by the amount of support that there is between members in helping each other and I will certainly be taking advantage of in the future. another surprise was the weekly goal commitment, ie you state publicly what you are going to achieve that week. Thats’ really good.
I would recommend Psychotatics to anybody whot wants to get away from the main stream of spam and spin. Instead anybody who wants to great great content that people will want to consume.
Well done Sean.
Once I read the Brain Audit, it seemed natural to join 5000bc. However, once I got there, I was overwhelmed by all of the information and how “busy” a place it is. I am still a bit shy, but working on that.
I like the Taking Action feature most, yet I am getting so much out of many of the other areas and discussions. It’s like learning at warp speed. In fact, recently there was a conversation thread on how to use LinkedIn. It was fabulous, so I copied it to a document that I can use as my own checklist for improving my LinkedIn experience.
Other benefits about 5000bc are: 1) getting answers to questions from kind and caring like-minded business people, 2) Yellow Pages for finding people I can contract for specific help (ie, copywriting), and 3) hearing about courses other members are offering. I took the Blogging Mastery course.
I would recommend 5000bc to anyone who has made the commitment to purchase the Brain Audit and is willing to apply the concepts.
Membership is a small price to pay for the enormous value I am getting out of it; including sharing experiences and learning with so many like-minded people.
On a personal level, I want to use the Taking Action feature to move forward faster. I get often get stuck building my business because I don’t have precise steps to follow. I know where I want to be, I just can’t seem to take small actions to get there. 5000bc is the boost I need.
I joined the cave almost a year ago. When I first joined, I saw a place in the forums where I could ask for advice about my website. I was hesitant to ask for advice. I felt my site did not ‘measure up’, so I waited. Well, Sean sent an e-mail out saying that it might be a good idea for us to take advantage of this area. I thought for anbother month or so, then decided to get in and ask for feedback.
I got the feedback, and before I put it to use, I wanted reassurance that the changes I would make would really change for the better. I got that reassurance, and made the changes. I’m so glad I did. I measured the changes on the google website optimizer and one test showed an improvement of 312%! Needless to say, this was perhaps worth the price of the membership in 5000 BC for the year. Maybe more.
This does not even address the practice I have had writing articles in the take action section of the forums, or the mastermind group I am in now. This membership has been priceless in helping me change my business and change my thinking. Thanks Sean, for making this possible.

I was wary of signing up and paying for a forum or another membership site because of previous less than impressive experiences with sites that are all sizzle and no substance run by flaky “gurus”. Sean’s free advice and articles are so good I didn’t think that he could come up with something even better. He does.
When I joined I found a wealth of practical information and advice on all sorts of topics related to small business, marketing (both online and offline), interviews with experts, critiques of members’ websites and their marketing material. Sean is there answering queries and questions, sometimes even turning advice that into an article.
Mixing with people from all over the world which allows you to get a truly international response to your questions or requests for help is one of the big bonuses of belonging. The 5000bc members are really friendly and there seems to be a complete absence of ego which is often the bane of a lot of online forums.
Free resources available to members which you don’t read or hear about outside 5000bc, not to mention free access to articles which later become paid products are added bonuses of being a member. You also get information about classes and workshops which Sean is planning before the general public is informed.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 5000bc as a valuable resource to help you with your business and the free coaching.
1. I was a little hesitant to sign-up for 5000BC because of the price.
2. Having joined it, I feel like I’ve already got quite a bit of value.
3. The feature that I like most is the TAP or taking action plan which is a forum that helps you stay focused on a short term project. I also appreciated the review of my website / concept from Sean.
4. I definitely would recommend it to others because of the fantastic content on the site, the vanishing reports, Sean’s review of your marketing communications and of course, the taking action forum.
At a personal level I’m looking forward to getting feedback on my website from other participants and working on improving it further.
1. I remember my hesitation, and it was two-fold:
a. Money $244 at one go at that particular time in my life was a big hit. A long-term contract that I thought I had secured was canceled on me by the client company, and I had no income coming in. I wanted to build my business up again into a full-fledged independent consultancy with systematic marketing, but I didn’t know how I was going to get the funds to pay for it. Luckily my father co-signed on a credit card that helped me during y crisis, and I signed up for 5000bc.
b. I had also had experienced with other membership groups and I didn’t see much value. However, Sean kept insisting this was different, and knowing the situation I was in he knew it would be helpful and timely.
2. For example, in The Cave, part of 500bc, I found a great forum with lots of very friendly people who were all willing to help me out. And I also found that Sean himself was very active in the forum. My first forum post asking how to put together a modern cold-calling program for my own business resulted in a new article from Sean.! I got way more than I actually expected, with so many thoughtful responses from dedicated forum members, and a complete article from Sean in response to my inquiry.
3. The feature I like most about 5000bc is the exclusivity. Sean is not just concerned with getting as many subscribers as fast as possible to 5000bc. He’s concerned with having smart members who will not only post questions, but provide thoughtful and intelligence answers, and members who will be active so The Cave would not be a “ghost-town”
4. a. The next three things I like are the premium articles
b. The fantastic interviews with stats such as Gary Vaynerchuk and Mike Stelzner (industry heavy-hitters)
c. The surprising quality of members of The Cave. I found out that Chris Garrett, the famous “authority blogger,” is a member of 5000bc!!! Who would have thought that somebody who is already a successful marketing and copy-writing “guru” in his own right would even NEED to be a member of a site such as 5000bc?
5. I would definitely recommend 5000bc to those either starting a new business, wanting to revamp their business and take it to the next level, and even those who find themselves as a marketing manager at a small company! Why would I recommend it? Because no matter how muc we learn from books such as The Brain Audit, or workshops or other materials, as we go out into our daily lives and implement what we learned we inevitably come across situations that stump us. We need an adviser we can go to to help us out of a jam. That’s 5000bc,and especially The Cave.
6. I would like to add that with 5000bc I feel like I’m networking with a very high-quality group of people. It’s a virtual way of saying “tell me who you hang out with, and I’ll tell you who you are.” Or in other words, “soar with Eagles.” I know I’m waxing a little bit poetic, but when I stop to think about all the benefits of 5000bc I remember all the details, and putting all the details together forms an amazing whole!

I’d been receiving Sean’s emails for a couple of years or so and he gave me a nudge to join the real party. I’d recently joined another group that cost quite a lot more than 5000bc but only seemed interested in selling me more. I took the plunge and joined 5000bc and instantly wondered why I had taken so long … it isn’t a plunge at all – it’s a sensible business decision.
I was welcomed into the cave and encouraged to participate only as far as I felt comfortable – and then a little more, and then a little bit more. I’m learning so much from people who have been through what I’m going through in trying to develop my business. I can also offer some of my knowledge to help others. There is no scorecard kept – everyone offers their help without the expectation of any return. That is the way Sean (and Renuka, of course) has designed 5000bc – to be a place of learning.
I have only really explored the cave, and even then not all of it. There are other areas with enormous amounts of useful information, all with Sean’s unique twist.
Would I recommend 5000bc? Yes, I already do.
5000bc doesn’t offer to take my workload away but it does show me how I can operate more efficiently. The cavers are encouraging and willing to help in any way they can.
My initial resistance to spending money on joining a group was immediately proved to be foolish. I was a fool for waiting so long to join.
Dennis Brown | Tree-hugger | Business efficiency through technology.
“5000bc had been recommended by a Caver, and I took a look at it. The cost of joining was small relative to my recent terrible purchase, but I was in no spending mood at the time…understandably.”
Within a couple days of joining, I soon realized that Sean walks the walk and talks the talk. Not only was Sean contributing to the forum, but the calibre and quality of the feedback from other members was invaluable and definitely free flowing.
What I found instantly on 5000bc were answers to my most pressing
questions related to my business. That made the cost of joining 5000bc, even after only a week or so of being a member, insignificant relative to the value received.

“When I went to 5000BC it sort of looked like a lot of the same information that was on Pyschotactics.”
The only real difference I saw was that 5000BC had a forum. I just couldn’t get past the price tag for what seemed like I was getting for free. At first I just didn’t get it.
Then you kept talking about all the great stuff in 5000BC in your newsletters and I thought I’d give it a try to see what it was really about.
What I found was there was more to it than I thought. That there were resources and articles that I wasn’t getting at Psychotactics. And that YOU were there – not just running the site but THERE for anyone who needed help
Three benefits
a) The “Sean” factor – you being there and not just being the guy who runs the site.
b) The Articles – lots of good info
c) The Resources list – It has helped me on a ton of projects!
I see so many people who just don’t know where to start when they are marketing – they are all over the board trying things and none of those things seem to work. Mainly because they aren’t focused. 5000BC can help hone that focus.

Talk about procrastination…over a three week period I went back time and time again to view Sean’s offer letter yet I couldn’t quite bring myself to hit the delete button – I think that underneath my doubtful feeling was a belief that this could well be something different.
And still I hesitated to join…well, I thought that 5000bc maybe more tailored towards businesses that had an online, say e-book or software type product unlike the physical product that my business has. I also considered that for my small business the investment seemed quite high if it turned out to be a ‘lemon’ or another useless ‘insider’ club. The turning point to join was the recognition given by one testifier that was personally known to me and whose opinion I valued – this cinched the deal.
Already I’ve received tremendous support and constructive advice from the Cave re a small project posted and can say no one needs feel embarrassed with their lack of understanding of a topic or that something is too trivial to ask. The collective knowledge Cavers have ready to share is extraordinary.
There are so many benefits…the quick response to any query; help to understand a problem from all angles; the friendly support and encouragement to get a project up, running and finished; not to mention of course the openness mindedness and honesty of the Cavers expressions without any malice or guile. 5000bc is a very friendly supportive environment.
Would I recommend 5000bc, absolutely! This is a resource that would firstly be very difficult to find elsewhere and even if you could find this level of knowledge and support, the going rate would be far more than the cost of one’s subscription many times over.
Hi Sean,
I thought you’d be pleased to know that despite my absence from The Cave recently I’ve been working hard on the principles and as a result have put together the first part of my 3-prong system. It’s a sales blog in WordPress in Spanish called “salespsicosis” through which I will acquire additional, compelling field material through interactions with salespeople in need. I also have a couple of free “toe-in-the-water” seminars tentatively agreed for October/November through which I intend to get a couple of paying projects.
I’ve obviously learnt something from your headline and article writing tips too because my native Spanish-speaking girlfriend tells me that my blog was “unputdownable” J
You’ve been an inspiration, thanks so far, see you in The Cave.

To join or not to join. That was the question weighing on my mind for weeks.
What was I going to learn by joining a forum? Were my questions really going to be answered? Would my life be better because of this forum? Was Sean really active in the forum?
I’ll tell you this much: I can’t imagine NOT being part of the 5000bc family!
As a matter of fact, being inside The Cave is like being inside the brains of the universe.
My understanding of how people think and communicate has forever changed how I think and communicate; from conversations, interviews with others to solving problems and writing posts from my blog.
Plus, there’s access to amazing interviews from innovative and thought-provoking people and mini-series on practical topics.
Would I recommend joining 5000bc? In a heartbeat.

Hi, Sean–
I just wanted to say that I’m finding the content and community in 5000bc so valuable, and I’m very glad I joined.
I’m one of those people who has a lot of trouble spending money on training and education, so paying a fee to join a forum was a big step for me. What I’ve found, though, is that people are serious and they contribute. That makes a big difference. The forum is completely worth the price of admission, though of course I wish I’d joined several years ago when it was cheaper. (Ironically, it seemed too expensive to me then, but I’m sure if I’d joined then I’d be further in my business.)
The biggest piece of value for me so far is the “critiques” section of the forum. After seeing the quality of feedback people were getting, I took the plunge and wrote a sales letter I’ve been meaning to write for almost two years. In the days after I posted I got a lot of helpful feedback that’s helping me make it stronger. But the most important thing is that I actually got it written. Without a friendly and intelligent audience to evaluate the draft, I might never have sat down to do it.
I’m also enjoying the general discussions. As a solo entrepreneur, most of my days are spent in isolation. And because of where I live, I’m not around other similarly-minded folks. The forum is inspiring; it’s great to be in contact with other people who are working hard on their businesses and facing so many of the same challenges I am.
Thanks for your work to keep this forum going.

Hi:
Some general observations, feelings and whatever, mostly because I don’t have a comment about every numbered item.
Originally I thought 5000bc was going to be a big time sucking vaccuum that wouldn’t help me. (But Sean kept sending me these newsletter and articles.) The feeling about the forum is because I am not a forum animal. Mostly I find them a waste of time. (That guy Sean sure has a way of expressing the simplest ideas in a way that makes sense. He makes me see the wisdom of conducting business and my habits in a way that my inherent overcomplicatedness won’t allow.)
And therein lies another unstated problem. 2 trains of thought at laser light speed in opposing directions. (Sean could write volumes on this.)
A strange thing has happened since I became a member of 5000bc.
Mostly I have been inconspicuous through my absence. What has happened is suddenly my desk is 3/4 clean of debris. The backlog of pressing chores that never get done, has nearly disappeared. Even found time to read Sean’s article bridging techniques, and how to make one sentence lead into the next. Seamlessly.
Everything considered, it is well worth the investment. At my present pace, I will get to the forum sooner rather than later.
Thanks for the articles, Sean.

Hi
I avoided joining 5000bc for a long time due to the cost, but I am glad I did.
Sean and Renuka are extremely helpful and are in constant contact.
I have posted a goal to increase my website traffic on the action forum, and it is keeping me very focused and motivated, as I know others are keeping an eye on me. What really impresses me is the quality of help I get from other members. I am making improvements to my site all the time thanks to their help.
I know there is loads more great information available in the Cave, such as Vanishing Reports, but I am so focused on my goal that I am waiting until I have that done before I dip into other areas.
I get bombarded with advice from all kinds of sources on the internet, but Sean and other Cave members are the people I most take heed of.
My long term goal is to give my customers the same service that Sean gives me!
Hi Sean:
1) It’s funny, I bought your “big” products like the Article Writing Course before I bought 5000bc. The big obstacle for me in joining 5000bc was the recurring monthly fee believe it or not. I remember thinking is joining yet another forum going to be worth my money and my time?
2) The feature I like most about 5000bc are the Mastermind groups. Right now, I’m in an article writing Mastermind group (I’m a homestudy version), and as I look back on some of my earlier stuff, I realize how much it’s helped me improve my writing.
3) The one thing I like about 5000bc are the Vanishing Reports. I just listened to Chaos Planning and was very impressed. It was part inspirational, yet also very practical in terms of being productive as a business owner and as a person.
4) The other benefits of 5000bc are: the helpful community atmosphere, the premium interview archives (I’m a premium member), and the fact that you (Sean) respond pretty promptly to forum questions.
5) I definitely would recommend 5000bc, especially if you don’t have a business and marketing background.
6) To anyone thinking of joining, even if you don’t think you have time, be sure to make the time! It’ll be worth it to you in the long run. You may just not have time because you have a poor strategy, which is something I think that 5000bc can help you with.
7) On a personal level, what I want most from 5000bc is to be able to create leverage in my life. To quote Christopher Morley, “There is only one success – to be able to spend your life in your own way.”
