Here's a little test.
I'm going to write three lines. And of course, you'll read those
three lines. Then you'll tell me which of the lines work. And
which ones don't.
Ready?
OK, here goes:
1) I'm going for a walk in the woods tonight.
2) The cylist doesn't cycle very good.
3) Dinosaurs love yummy chocolate cake.
OK, so the chocolate cake distracted you for a while. But you were
still able to quickly spot the mistakes, right? You spotted that
“cylist” was definitely the wrong spelling. And you realised that
the sentence needed to be written correctly as: The cyclist doesn't
cycle very well.
Was that hard?
Well neither is writing headlines. But aha, that's not what you've
experienced, have you? There you sit, slaving over your headline,
driving yourself to distraction with thoughts of yummy chocolate cake.
But then you return back to write something–or as many so-called
“gurus” tell you, copy something. And so your headline experience
is um, less than optimal.
But ask you to write three lines or five lines or seventeen lines,
and forty-three seconds later, you're done. You can not only tell
that your sentences are right. But you can easily–and
consistently–tell when your sentences are wrong.
Headlines are nothing but sentences
And we struggle with them for a simple reason: We write sentences
and speak them out aloud thousands of times a day. But we have to
deal with a headline maybe once a week, sometimes even less
frequently.
We realise the importance of a great headline, but then deadlines
loom closer and we're not sure what to do. Worse still, we've never
been taught to spot what makes a good headline vs. what makes a
crummy headline.
But this problem can be easily fixed if you “suddenly” get
headline-writing super powers.
Introducing the Headline Course! The key to winning headlines in
just 8 weeks
It's a fun course, where you learn to write amazingly powerful headlines.
And fun, did we say?
Courses aren't supposed to be fun. They're supposed to be boring,
mind-numbing information-dumps.
Well, not this course
It's fun. It's easy. And all that nonsense about you have to write
200 headlines to pick one, is well, just nonsense.
Once you learn how to write headlines, you know a good one from a
bad one. You know how to spot the bad ones and fix them. And yes,
you can write hundreds of brilliant headlines in a day.
Sounds incredible, right?
Well, don't take my word for it. Join us on the course and
experience the Psychotactics unique method of teaching by “tiny
increments”.
But wait, before you sign up, you may want to do your due diligence
and read this document.
And here's why…
It contains 40 pages of experiences–not testimonials.
Testimonials can be rah-rah. These are not rah-rah. They tell you
what to expect, how they went through the course and why headline
writing is easy-peasy (once you know how).
Almost kinda like eating chocolate cake.
